Our Story
Colegio de San Antonio de Padua, a Catholic non-sectarian institution of learning was built upon the dream of the late Ramon “Manong Amon” Durano Sr. for the people of Danao. To offer quality education not only to the Danawanons but also to the people of the fifth district, a joint effort by the former Congressman and Secretary of Tourism Joseph Felix “Ace” Durano, Mayor Ramon “Nito” Durano and Congressman Ramon “Red” Durano, along with the support and hard work of Carmen and Carmel L. Durano, paved the way to the realization of Manong Amon’s dream .
In honor of the San Antonio Parish Church, CSAP is named after Anthony of Padua, the patron saint of lost possessions. With compassion, integrity, and dedication as its core values, CSAP officially started its operation in 2004.
The main campus at Barangay Guinsay, currently has two buildings: (1) the Main Building which houses the different offices of the Administrators, the Grade 11 classrooms, the School Clinic, and the laboratories of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, and College of Engineering; (2) the MPY Building houses the Grade 12 classrooms, the canteen, and the School Library.
