🌿 Different Routes. One Destination. One Shared Purpose. 🌿

From different places, different backgrounds, and different journeys, 247 passionate volunteers answered the call to become part of something bigger than themselves.

Some hiked 🧑‍🦯 through the trails. Some ran 🏃 with determination. Some biked 🚴 their way forward. We all took different routes —but in the end, our paths led us to the same destination: Sitio Tawsan - our adopted mangrove forest community 🌱🌊

And there, we found something that connected us all—a shared purpose 🌱🌿💚

Because, perhaps the most meaningful journey is not about where we come from or how we get there.

It is about finding a reason to come together—and realizing that TOGETHER, we can make a difference. 💚🌍🌿

The countdown is on! As we journey together to Sitio Tawsan this Sunday, let’s get ready for a meaningful day of wellness while showcasing our company’s remarkable culture of VOLUNTEERISM and our shared commitment to CARING for the PLANET. 🌍💚

📍 Assembly Time and Venue
: 4AM at Danao City Boardwalk

GUN START

👕 Wear comfortable attire suitable for the activity (don't forget to bring your mangrove planting footwear)

💧 Stay hydrated and bring your personal essentials (we have 2 Aid Stations along the way)

🌿⛰️ MT. MAGO TREE-kking ADVENTURE:
"Planting Footprints that Grow a Forest" 🌳🌳
One destination. One shared purpose.

Cebu Mitsumi’s Mt. Mago TREE-kking Adventure brought together employees, top management, partners and stakeholders in a meaningful day of wellness, volunteerism and Planet Care 🌏💚

With the participation of CENRO Danao, SSS Danao, and CGSI, plus the support from Barangay Santican local community - volunteers came together to trek through Mt. Mago, embraced the outdoors and took meaningful action to plant 500 trees along the trail side halfway going to the peak.

👥 420 volunteers showed up
🌱 500 trees planted
🗑️ 35 kilos of trash collected
🥾 Countless strides taken
💚 One powerful spirit of volunteerism

Beyond promoting physical wellness through TREKKING, the TREE PLANTING and PLOGGING activities creatively strengthened our collective commitment to nurturing nature and building a greener future for generations to come.

Our deepest appreciation to everyone who travelled, trekked, volunteered and planted with us. Your presence proves that when we move TOGETHER, our actions can create greater and lasting impact.

We are honored to be recognized as Best in Class - Runner-up under EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability) Category at the MEPZCEM Pursuit of Excellence Sharing Rally, held on July 30–31, 2026 at JPark Island Resort & Waterpark.

This recognition was earned through the presentation of our remarkable Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) - a shining example of how simple ideas, when driven by teamwork and commitment to help preserve the planet through the promotion of Circular Economy , can create a cleaner workplace, a healthier environment and a more sustainable future 🌿

Dear Volunteers,

DON'T LET THE RAIN STOP OUR MISSION!

Based on the latest weather forecast, intermittent rain showers may be possible during our Mt. Mago TREE-kking Adventure on July 25, esp. beyond 9AM. While the activity will proceed as scheduled unless otherwise advised, everyone is encouraged to come prepared for changing weather conditions.

🎒 Please waterproof your backpacks, cellphones, etc.

A little preparation goes a long way in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable trek. Let's stay dry, stay safe, and continue Planting Footprints that Grow a Forest. 🌱💚

Check our official trail map to help familiarize all volunteers with the route—from the trailhead behind Santican Barangay Hall all the way to Mt. Mago (up to 1st Peak/Boundary Marker only)

📍 Study the route!

🥾 Wear appropriate trekking gear.
💧 Bring enough water.
🌱 Leave nothing but footprints... and plant trees that will leave a lasting legacy.
