The Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) β Dalaguete Chapter continues to make significant strides in raising awareness against illegal drugs and violent extremism through its Barangayan Launching Program. This initiative highlights the vital role of the youth in nation-building and community development while supporting the governmentβs efforts in addressing the challenges posed by illegal drugs and threats to peace and security.
Recognizing that young people are among the most vulnerable sectors of society, KKDAT serves as a platform that empowers them to become agents of positive change, responsible citizenship, and community leadership. Through education, advocacy, and active participation, the youth are encouraged to stand firm against the dangers of illegal substances and all forms of violence and criminality.
As part of its commitment to creating safer and more resilient communities, the KKDAT Dalaguete Chapter successfully conducted the re-launching of the KKDAT Barangay Chapter in Barangay Banhigan, Dalaguete, Cebu on June 11, 2026. The activity was carried out with great enthusiasm and strong community support, marking another milestone in strengthening youth engagement and leadership at the grassroots level.
The newly organized KKDAT Barangay Chapter is now prepared to take on greater responsibilities in championing programs and initiatives that address the concerns and aspirations of todayβs youth. United as Kabataang Bagani at Bagong Bayani, we can inspire meaningful change and contribute to a brighter future for our communities.
We warmly welcome our newest KKDAT members and extend our heartfelt congratulations for becoming part of this growing movement. Your dedication, ideas, and commitment will undoubtedly help advance our shared mission of building a drug-free, peaceful, and empowered society.
