Out of 97,617 examinees from across the country, they emerged among the 8,108 official qualifiers of one of the most prestigious and competitive scholarship programs in the Philippines.

This remarkable achievement reflects not only academic excellence but also the curiosity, perseverance, and passion for learning that define future scientists and innovators. We recognize your hard work, dedication, and commitment to pursuing knowledge in service of the nation.

From Dagupan City National High School - Senior High School, we celebrate a proud moment as the University of the Philippines releases the UPCAT results for AY 2026–2027.

Out of 147,437 applicants nationwide, only 18,350 were given admission notices, waitlist status, or DPWAS placement—showing just how competitive and life-changing this milestone truly is.

🌱✨ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 & 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 ✨🌱

Last March 3, 2026, our STEM students took a small step for nature by planting in the garden area in front of the FilChi Office. Though tiny, each plant represents a seed of growth, teamwork, and care—reminding us that even the smallest stem can eventually sprout into something greater.

Through this initiative, we not only beautified our space but also nurtured a culture of responsibility, curiosity, and the love for nature—proving that big changes start with small steps. 💚🌿

The SHS Science Club of Dagupan City National High School – Senior High School extends its congratulations to Mark Paul Elijah B. Tuguinay, Club President and proponent of PROJECT I.S.D.A. (Intelligent System for Daily Aquaculture), for achieving international recognition under the Robotics and Intelligent Machines (RIM) category, with the guidance of Science Club Adviser, Ma’am Ashley S. Ferrer.

Project I.S.D.A. is an automated fish feeding system integrated with water temperature monitoring and mobile messaging, designed to provide practical and sustainable solutions for aquaculture through intelligent technology and research-based innovation.

The project was recognized at the International Creativity, Learning, Gamification & Digital Innovation, where it received the following distinctions:

At the Regional Science and Technology Fair (RSTF) 2025) held at NEAP R1, San Fernando, La Union last December 5–6, 2025, our young innovators proved that true excellence is born from curiosity, courage, and relentless passion. Representing City High with both pride and purpose, the ChitoDispenser Team showcased a breakthrough project in environmental robotics — a portable microplastics monitoring and chitosan-dispensing system designed to protect Bangus (Chanos chanos) fish ponds. Their ingenuity earned them 4TH PLACE in the Robotics & Intelligent Machines – Group Category, against the top entries from 14 divisions of the region, a remarkable milestone that strengthens our school’s legacy in STEM innovation.

This victory is more than a medal — it is a testament to what happens when creativity meets compassion, when science becomes a solution, and when learners rise to the challenge of a changing world. Today, our delegates didn’t just compete; they ignited a spark of innovation that will inspire the next generation of City High scientists. 💚🔬🌟
