As the first semester slowly comes to a close, we’re excited to introduce the passionate student leaders behind the 𝐒𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 🤟🏻

𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒔 – 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕

Sharing a highlight from 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 23, 2025, when our 𝑺𝑵𝑬𝑫 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 took part in the International Day of Sign Languages. 🤟💙

We distributed informative flyers to raise awareness on the importance of sign language in communication and education. Through this simple effort, we hoped to empower the Deaf community and promote true inclusivity—especially in our classrooms.

Let’s continue creating spaces where every voice and every sign is seen, heard, and valued.

As October arrives, we’re gearing up for ADHD Awareness Month 2024! This year’s theme, “𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐲”, focuses on the importance of understanding ADHD to create more inclusive spaces in schools, workplaces, and communities.

AD/HD is a common neuro-biological disorder affecting 3% to 4% of the population, with an estimated four million Filipinos impacted nationwide. This chronic brain disorder has significant social, academic, and emotional consequences, and the lack of understanding and awareness surrounding AD/HD leads to misconceptions and social stigma, which in turn hinder access to effective treatment and increase the risk of co-morbid conditions like conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and anti-social behavior. Unaddressed AD/HD may also contribute to higher rates of out-of-school youth, child abuse, and neglect.

Let’s shine a light on the minds that move at their own pace. ADHD isn’t a limitation—it’s a different kind of brilliance. From boundless creativity to innovative problem-solving, ADHD is part of what makes many people extraordinary. 💡

Let’s work together to spread awareness! Whether you’re a teacher, employer, parent, or friend, you can play a part in encouraging empathy and support for individuals with ADHD. Understanding ADHD unlocks the potential for a more inclusive and compassionate world.

Today, we celebrate more than a day—we celebrate a movement. On World Deaf Day, we invite everyone to "𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝑼𝒑 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔!" Sign language represents more than communication; it’s the lifeline of the Deaf community and a fundamental human right. This day reminds us to respect, value, and empower the culture and voices that flourish through sign language. 🌸🌍

With every sign, we break the silence and rise for equality. Sign language is more than just a form of communication—it’s a powerful expression of identity and unity.
