What will Rotary look like in 2030?

For the members of the Rotary Club of Uptown Dagupan 2000, the question was more than a glimpse into the future - it was an invitation to help share it. Our Club proudly joined fellow Rotarians in the insightful webinar, "What Will Rotary Look Like in 2030?", featuring RI Director Tom Gump. The session challenged us to imagine a Rotary that remains deeply rooted in its timeless values while boldly evolving to meet the changing needs of our members, our communities, and the world.

The Rotary of the future will not simply be defined by how many members we have or how many meetings we conduct. It will be shaped by how welcoming we are, how relevant we remain, how effectively we embrace innovation and technology, and how boldly we create meaningful opportunities for people to serve, connect, lead, and belong.

As we look toward 2030, one message resonates clearly: the future of Rotary is not something we wait - it is something we build together.

Together, we serve. Together, we CREATE LASTING IMPACT. Because the Rotary of 2030 begins with what we choose to do today.

Moments like this remind us that Rotary is more than meetings and service projects - it is also about friendship, fellowship, and celebrating life's meaningful milestones together. We extend our warmest, belated birthday wishes to PP Lily Yuchongtian! May the year ahead be filled with good health, happiness, and countless blessings to continue making a difference in the lives of others. Together we celebrate, together we serve, together we continue to CREATE LASTING IMPACT.

The Rotary Club of Uptown Dagupan 2000 successfully conducted another meaningful regular club meeting marked by fellowship and an inspiring exchange of ideas among its members through a CLASSIFICATION TALK delivered by one of the new Rotarians, Nestor Cesar "Nanoy" E. Duque. He shared his sponsor information (his father, CP Gonz Duque), an introduction of himself (personal and vocational), his testimony (life before and after Christ), and his passion for 3D Coach Teaching. His presentation offered a meaningful perspective on the role of sports beyond competition, emphasizing its potential as a platform for character formation, leadership development, mentorship, and faith. Rtn Nanoy reflected on how coaching can go beyond developing athletes and winning games. He emphasized the importance of guiding young people to develop discipline, integrity, perseverance, teamwork, humility, and respect - values that are essential not only in sports but also in life. From a Christian perspective, coaching becomes an opportunity to influence lives, mentor future leaders, and inspire individuals to pursue a purpose greater than personal achievement. His talk particularly resonated with the Rotary's Four-Way Tests and the motto of service above self.
Through coaching and living out Christian faith, we can truly CREATE EVERLASTING IMPACT in the lives of individuals and future generations.
