Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the most sacred time in the Christian calendar leading to Easter. It commemorates the moment when Jesus entered Jerusalem and was welcomed by crowds waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna!” (Matthew 21:9).

Here are five fascinating facts every Catholic should know:

1️⃣ It fulfills prophecy.
Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem riding a donkey fulfilled the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9, revealing Him as the promised Messiah.

Umani ng malakas na hiyawan at palakpakan ang General Trias Convention Center nang tawagin ang pangalan ng Grade 2 student na si Daniel Elijah B. Signo sa ginanap na Elementary Recognition Day noong Marso 23, 2026.

Hindi lang basta isa o ilang medalya ang kanyang nakuha—umabot ito sa 33 medals, dahilan para lalo siyang hangaan ng mga dumalo sa okasyon.

Hindi rin maitago ng kanyang mga magulang ang labis na tuwa at pasasalamat sa Diyos sa mga biyayang natanggap ng kanilang anak. Para sa kanila, bunga ito ng sipag, tiyaga, at dedikasyon ni Daniel sa kanyang pag-aaral.

At hindi pa doon nagtatapos ang tagumpay—may ilan pang international medals na paparating at inaasahang matatanggap pa niya! ♥️
