DCNHS Classrooms Display Philippine Flag for National Flag Day

In celebration of National Flag Day, as mandated by the Republic Act No. 8491, Dagupan City National High School (DCNHS) encouraged teachers and students to display the Philippine flag in their respective classrooms. This act of displaying the flag of our Motherland symbolizes patriotism and nationalism—two important values that unite the nation and strengthen Filipino identity.

This initiative aims to remind Filipinos of the importance of the Philippine flag and the spirit of patriotism and nationalism it represents, as well as how it inspires Filipinos, especially the youth. As our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, once said, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,” emphasizing the vital role of the youth in preserving and promoting love for the Motherland.

Through this meaningful gesture, DCNHS joins the nation in inspiring the school community to uphold the values of love for the country, nationalism, and patriotism, which the youth can pass on to future generations, strengthening Filipinos’ love for the Motherland.

Today’s flag ceremony is more than just the opening of another school year, it is a reminder that 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 students are the 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 of tomorrow. 🇵🇭 As we gather under one flag, we carry not only our dreams for ourselves but also our hopes for a 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 and a 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

𝙒𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨. Be a students who carry themselves with excellence, confidence, and responsibility both inside and outside the campus!

The 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 of 𝗗𝗖𝗡𝗛𝗦 strongly encourages everyone to wear their prescribed school uniforms properly and proudly. 😉 The proper uniforms are:

🌟 𝗕𝗘𝗖 (Enhanced Basic Education Curriculum) – White blouse or polo paired with a navy blue skirt for girls and black pants for boys. The navy blue DCNHS necktie is highly encouraged, though not strictly required.

🌟 𝗦𝗧𝗘 (Science, Technology, and Engineering Program) – Green plaid uniform with the official DCNHS necktie, paired with a checkered skirt for girls or dark green pants for boys.

🌟 𝗦𝗣𝗔 (Special Program in the Arts) – Red-accented uniform with the official DCNHS necktie, partnered with a red checkered skirt for girls or matching pants for boys.

🌟 𝗦𝗛𝗦 (Senior High School) – White blouse or polo with gray lining on the collar and sleeves, paired with gray skirt or pants and a strand-specific necktie.

For students who still do not have their uniforms, we highly encourage wearing a 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁-𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 as a neat and respectful alternative.

𝙎𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙇 𝙄𝙎 𝘾𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂. 𝙏𝙒𝙊 𝘿𝘼𝙔𝙎 𝙍𝙀𝙈𝘼𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂.✏️

The 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮, the 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, and a 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙-𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣. In just 2 days our hallways will be filled with laughters, and another chapter of learning begins.

As we prepare our bags, organize our school supplies, and set new goals, let’s also prepare our hearts and minds for the upcoming opportunities and challenges ahead of us. 🧠 Let's return with 𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙨, and the 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨.
