Abra kicks off the 109th Kawayan Trade Fair at the Abra Sports Complex, with 27 towns creating a mini village of small "abong" or bamboo huts showcasing their local products.

The just concluded BFAR SAAD SUMMIT 2025 last November 5, 2025, at ASIST Bangued Abra.

Congratulations to the Fisherfolk Livelihood Organization of Ableg and TUI of Daguioman for being one of the top-performing fisherfolk associations and for being awarded the Postharvest and Marketing Livelihood Intervention for Cluster 1 Benguet and Abra.

Mr. Lyndsy W. Balagso association secretary reported the Accomplishment and best practices of our association.

We would like to extend our thanks to our LGU Daguioman, headed by our very supportive Mayor Salma Q. Padilla, and to our Municipal Agriculture Officer, Mr. Joshua L. Lomioan.

Today, FLOAT received 8,100 tilapia and 1,200 catfish (hito) fingerlings as the 3rd batch to complete the 5th cycle in Daguioman under the Special Area of Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program.

Also, received 1 unit of water pump with steel frame and 3 rolls of hose from the Provincial Government of Abra during the "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para Lahat." Thank you, Governor Hon. Eustaquio P. Bersamin.

Special thanks to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources for your continuous support with us fisherfolk.
