With grateful hearts, we celebrate another successful gift-giving at St. Joseph Parish 🎁🀍

This year marks our 3rd year of sharing blessings, joy, and hope with the community. What started as a simple act of giving has grown through the kindness and generosity of people who continue to believe in serving others.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our wonderful donors who made this possible: Marilou Tolibas, Belinda Carpina Dizon-Tibre , Rosechel Claro - Dumduma , Marklil Cabioc , Keira Costob , Tan Danque, Rainzy Lausin Catangcatang , Lenemare Lausin Catangcatang, and Shantal Numeral. Your generosity, support, and big hearts brought smiles to many and reminded us all of the true spirit of giving.

Today marks the 81st anniversary of the historic Leyte Gulf Landings β€” a moment that changed the course of our nation’s history. Led by General Douglas MacArthur, the landing in Palo, Leyte became a powerful symbol of hope and liberation for the Filipino people during World War II.

We honor the courage of our World War II veterans, the Allied forces, and the Filipino guerrillas who fought side by side to reclaim our freedom. Their bravery and sacrifice remind us that peace carries a price β€” one that must always be remembered and protected.

As we reflect on this historic day, may we continue to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and patriotism that our heroes fought for.

Yesterday, our Girl Scouts had the amazing opportunity to bring joy to the elderly, children, and families in need during our gift-giving event at the church. πŸ’ Seeing their faces light up with happiness reminded us of the true spirit of the holidaysβ€”spreading kindness, love, and hope.

We couldn’t have done this without the incredible support of our generous sponsors who helped make this day so special. Your kindness truly inspires us to keep making a difference. πŸ’•
