"WAY OF THE CROSS 2024"
This year, the Bantayog Mandaragit Eagles Club had the privilege of participating in the Holy Trinity Daet's Diocesan Way of the Cross. As we walked its path, Lent's spirit of reflection resonated deeply.
This season provides us with the opportunity to look inward and contemplate our relationships with God and others. It reminds us of the importance of building bridges and strengthening connections, for isolation, even when we believe we're on the right path, can be perilous.
As we journey with Jesus in his final moments on earth, we are struck by the immeasurable love of God and the ultimate sacrifice made for our redemption. But his suffering doesn't end there. We see Jesus reflected in the struggles of our brothers and sisters facing injustice today.
Yet, the ultimate message echoes loud and clear: we are not meant to stay fallen. We are called to rise, seek reconciliation, and emulate God's unconditional love and forgiveness.

Planting Seeds of Hope and Progress in Barangay Matnog:

The Bantayog Mandaragit Eagles Club under Bantayog Bicol Region 1following the Eagles Magna Carta, book 2, section 12 “tree planting to undertake a continuing and sustainable tree planting program”.
Inspired by the words of Lucy Larcom, "He who plants a tree, plants a hope," the Samahang Magsasaka ng Pamorangon led a transformative tree-planting activity on February 16, 2024. They joined forces with the Bantayog Mandaragit Eagles Club, BJMP Daet District Jail, and Baluzo Farm at Capistrano's Farm in Barangay Matnog, Basud, Camarines Norte. Together, they planted a remarkable 2,500 madre cacao seedlings.
These weren't just trees; they were symbols of hope, economic opportunity, and environmental responsibility. The seedlings, provided through a collaboration between the Department of Agriculture and the Philippine Coconut Authority, represented a future rooted in sustainability and shared prosperity.
The initiative aimed to achieve more than just a greener landscape:
• Thriving Ecosystem: The new cacao trees will create a flourishing environment, benefiting both the association members and the entire community.
• Model Farm: Capistrano's Farm will showcase intercropping techniques, inspiring others to adopt sustainable practices.
• Local Jobs: Caring for the cacao trees will generate employment opportunities, boosting the local economy.
The event concluded with a sense of shared achievement, fueled by the dedication and passion of everyone involved. This collaborative effort promises a brighter future for Barangay Matnog, one cacao tree and one hopeful heart at a time.

ALALAYANG AGILA: Para sa Diyos at para sa Bayan
"PAILAW SA PARROQUIA NI SAN PEDRO APOSTOL"
Installation of Solar Flood Lights

The Bantayog Mandaragit Eagles Club under Bantayog Bicol Region 1, in line with “Service through Strong Brotherhood”, completed their third community service by choosing St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Vinzons, Camarines Norte, led by Fr. Milo "Jojo" Caymo, to receive a donation nd installations of 5 solar flood lights (300 watts each) and 7 motion sensor lights on January 19, 2024.

These lights were installed around the church perimeter fence with the help of Araw Araw Internet Communication Services and Mary's Farmville staff. The project aims to enhance security by illuminating dark areas, promote social activities, deter crime, and beautify the church at night.

The formal handover ceremony took place last Sunday, January 28, 2024, with a free "lugaw" (rice porridge) meal offered to all churchgoers.

This event wouldn't have been possible without all the amazing club members, our awesome ate, bunso, and nanay, and of course, a big thanks to our sponsors!"
