Valentine's Day is a day that celebrates love, affection, and appreciation for the special people in our lives. It is a day where we express our emotions and show our loved ones just how much they mean to us. This year, on February 14, we at the Girls Scout of the Philippines β Moreno Integrated School decided to spread love and positivity by setting up a Valentine's Day message booth. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and participated in our initiative.
The idea behind the Valentine's Day message booth called βCupidβs Luv Expressβ was to provide a platform for individuals to express their love and gratitude for the people in their lives. With the rise of digital communication, it has become easier to send a quick text or an emoji to convey our feelings. However, we wanted to bring back the charm of handwritten messages and foster a sense of connection and warmth among people.
The preparations for the message booth were tiring yet fun and fulfilling. We decorated the booth with simple banner, glittered ornaments, and streamers to create a romantic and welcoming atmosphere. We also provided a variety of stationery, including pens, papers, envelopes, stickers, and markers, for people to use in creating their messages. The booth was set up in the school covered court facing the stage, making it easily accessible to everyone.
On Valentine's Day, we were overwhelmed by the response we received. People from all walks of life, students, faculty, staff, and even visitors (parents and others), stopped by our booth to take a look or to write messages for their loved ones. It was heartwarming to see couples writing messages to each other, friends expressing their appreciation for one another, and students leaving messages for their loved ones. Some even wrote messages for themselves, practicing self-love and self-appreciation.
The messages varied from funny and witty to heartfelt and emotional. Some were short and sweet, while others were long and elaborate. Each message was unique and reflected the different relationships and bonds people shared. Some people also took pictures with their messages and shared them on social media, spreading the love and positivity even further.
The harana was the highlight of the day, as students gathered in our booth to avail the harana service to serenade their loved ones with romantic songs. The booth offered five famous song recommendations which was mostly picked by our customers; however, they can also pick their own personal choice of song. It was a beautiful sight to see students singing their hearts out to express their love and appreciation for their significant others.
The harana was not only limited to romantic couples; friends also took this opportunity to express their love and appreciation for each other. The performances were met with cheers and applause, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere. It was evident that the students had enjoyed the harana and will forever treasure this moment in their hearts and minds.
As the day went on, our booth became a hub of positive energy and love. It was heartening to see people taking the time to sit down and write a message instead of just typing a quick text. The act of writing a message made them pause and reflect on their feelings, making the messages more meaningful and sincere.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported our initiative. Whether you wrote a message, took a picture, or simply stopped by to appreciate our efforts, your contribution made a difference. It was heartwarming to see the joy and happiness our booth brought to people's lives.
All in all, we would like to thank everyone who supported our Valentine's Day message booth. Your participation made it a huge success, and we couldn't have done it without you. We hope that our small initiative helped spread love and positivity in our community and reminded everyone of the power of expressing our feelings. Let's continue to spread love and kindness every day, not just on Valentine's Day. Thank you once again, and we look forward to your continued support in our future endeavors.
