FLOAT COMPETITION 2026
Designer: Kgwd. Joven Bonita
2nd Place 🏆
“Sa Buklod at Pagkakaisa, Lahat ay Kaisa”
The float of Barangay San Isidro is a vibrant representation of the community’s unity, hard work, determination, rich natural resources, and agricultural heritage.
At the heart of the float is the carabao pulling a karita, symbolizing the strength, perseverance, and humble spirit of our farmers—the people who tirelessly cultivate the land and provide food and livelihood for their families and the community.
The "karita" carries the beautiful story of San Isidro, featuring the coconut trees, rice fields, pineapple plantation, tiger grass and bamboo that represent the primary sources of livelihood and the fruits of the people’s hard work.
Surrounding this agricultural landscape are the magnificent natural treasures of the barangay—Rafflesia, Mt. Guinatongan, Angelina Falls, Mampili River, and Tuo River—which symbolize the beauty, abundance, and blessings bestowed upon the community.
More than a display of scenery and livelihood, the float tells a story of people working together as one. The farmer, the carabao, the fertile land, the rivers, the mountains, and every household are connected in one community where everyone has a role and everyone contributes. It reflects the belief that progress becomes possible when people help one another, protect their natural resources, preserve their heritage, and move forward together.
Through this float, Barangay San Isidro proudly presents not only what makes the community beautiful, but also who its people are—resilient, hardworking, united, and proud of their home. It embodies the spirit of the theme:
“Sa buklod at pagkakaisa, lahat ay kaisa”—
when every hand helps, every heart cares, and every member stands together, the whole community becomes stronger.
