There is a verse in Scripture that should make every heart tremble: โI never knew you.โ โ Matthew 7:23
Not โI never saw your works.โ Not โI never heard your prayers.โ Not โI never noticed your ministry.โ
But โI never knew you.โ
These words are terrifying not because of judgment alone...but because of distance. It is possible to preach His name, sing His songs, cast out demons, prophesy, serve in churches, and still be unknown to Him.
You can know about Jesus and still not belong to Him. You can be busy for God and still not be with God. You can perform faith publicly while your heart remains untouched privately.
This verse exposes the danger of a Christianity built on activity instead of intimacy. On doing instead of dwelling. On reputation instead of relationship.
Jesus is not impressed by our resumes. He is after our hearts. He does not ask, โHow much did you do?โ He asks, โDid you walk with Me?โ โDid you love Me wholeheartedly?โ โDid you let Me know you in the secret place?โ
One day, titles will fall. Platforms will fade. Applause will be silenced. And the only thing that will matter is this: Were you known by Him?
May our deepest prayer never be, โLord, look at what I did for You,โ but instead, โLord, You know meโฆ search my heart and see if there's any wicked way in me and cleanse me..purify me.."
Let our lives cry out..not for recognition, but for relationship. Not for success, but for surrender. Not for religion, but for real intimate love with Jesus.
I am my beloved's and He is mineโค๏ธโ๐ฅ
