Last July 21, 2026, our Military Bishop, His Excellency Most Rev. Oscar Jaime L. Florencio, DD, SThD, appointed a new set of chaplains to guide the Youth of the Military Ordinariate. 🎉

The Church stays alive because of the youth. We are not just the future, we are also the present of the Church. The commission is excited for the guidance and support these new chaplains will bring. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐌𝐎𝐏𝐂𝐘 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Looking back on our Camp Visit at Holy Child Chapel, Bonifacio Naval Station — “𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚? 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭. 𝐀𝐧𝐨, 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚?” — it was truly a day filled with excitement, learning, and meaningful experiences. Through the different activities prepared for us, we learned valuable lessons that we can carry beyond the camp. From the 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 that challenged our teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking to 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 that taught us creativity, patience, and cooperation, each activity had a purpose and left an impact on us. Reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones made the experience even more meaningful and memorable.

The 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 brought so much joy, energy, and excitement to everyone. Singing, dancing, and praising the Lord together as one community created a beautiful atmosphere of unity and celebration. The 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘇é prayer also became one of the most meaningful parts of the visit, providing a peaceful space for reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal. It allowed us to pause, listen, and encounter God in silence and simplicity.

Overall, this camp visit was more than just a day of activities—it was an opportunity to grow in faith, strengthen friendships, create lasting memories, and be reminded of God's presence in our lives. May we continue to cherish these moments, build stronger bonds, and create even more meaningful memories together in the years to come. 🤍✨

𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟎𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 (𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲) | 𝐒𝐭. 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐲𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥

The joyful celebration of Easter Sunday was presided over by Oscar Jaime L. Florencio together with the concelebrating AFP Chaplains, as the faithful rejoiced in the Resurrection of our Lord.

The day began with the meaningful Salubong procession, where the male participants, together with the image of the Risen Christ, came from Divine Grace Chapel, while the female participants, together with Mama Mary, came from Immaculate Conception Chapel. The encounter was beautifully highlighted by angel performances celebrating the Risen Christ, followed by the symbolic removal of the black veil from Mama Mary, signifying the end of sorrow and the beginning of joy.

After the Mass, the celebration continued with an Easter egg hunt open not only for children but for everyone, bringing smiles, laughter, and a sense of community as many joyfully participated. It was truly a day of hope, unity, and celebration of new life in Christ.
