EASTEAST_ is a Tokyo-based art fair by culture workers from the diverse industries of art, fashion, architecture, design, and music.

This talk program was organized by art collective and residency space 6okken (“rokken”), inviting practitioners from the region to casually discuss and question ideas on “Asian solidarity” in the art fair’s parking lot for three days, culminating in a public talk inside the building. From Salikhain Kolektib, Ness joined onsite for 2 days and Ralph joined online. Thank you 6okken for the time and space to think through these questions, til we meet again! またね!

Event Archive | Salikhain Kolektib, in collaboration with the Philippine Legislators’ Committee on Population and Development (PLCPD) and UNICEF Philippines, facilitated a creative workshop with children and teens and curated an exhibition at the House of Representatives as part of National Children’s Month.

The workshop generated artworks that expressed children’s visions for a healthy food environment. These artworks were later showcased in the exhibition from November 15–19, highlighting the urgent call to lobby for the enactment of a law on healthy food environments and front‑of‑pack nutrition labeling (FOPNL) in the Twentieth Congress.

The project aims to amplify young voices and strengthen the campaign to promote healthy diets and prevent childhood obesity and noncommunicable diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
