Assalamualaikum and good evening, everyone!
As we come to the end of this event—𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: “𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬, 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬”—we would like to congratulate everyone for making this meaningful event successful. But first and foremost, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧—𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 for giving us an opportunity to enjoy and experience this kind of event. You truly encouraged us to promote solidarity, unity, sportsmanship, and peace. We are grateful because we became active youth in our community with the help and unwavering support of the World Vision—Peace Mindanao Project. We couldn’t have done it without your support.
Our heartwarming gratitude to our beloved principal of 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐀𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐢. Thank you so much for letting us use the school as well as for letting us borrow the school stuff. We are honored and thankful for your invaluable contribution. Your full support contributed a lot to the success of this event. And of course, to the 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬, we are deeply grateful for your support. We truly appreciate your time and effort in organizing this successful event and for showing your dedication in uniting and team-working. To 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐇𝐒-𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐲𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬, allow us to convey our deepest thanks and appreciation for their wonderful and energetic performance. Their rhythm, coordination, and mesmerizing talent truthfully enlightened excitement to our event.
To our 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, thank you so much for actively participating in our event. Congratulations for showcasing your talents, embracing teamwork, enthusiasm, and discipline, and for helping us promote the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and peace. You have shown that sports is not solely about competition but also about breaking down walls and building connections, respect, and friendship. From the bottom of our hearts, thanks for taking the game in a positive manner. Your presence and participation mean a lot to us. Let us remember the words of Ban Ki-moon: “𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔.” Indeed, as Henry Ford once said, “𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔.”
We also would like to express our profound thanks to our 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧. 𝐓𝐨𝐧-𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧, 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐊 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬, for giving their best in assisting the participants and players, most especially for being our support system in terms of financial or unexpected expenses. Your support inspires us to continue serving our community.
Last but definitely not least, thanks a lot to the watchers for being with us all throughout this journey. Your support, cheers, and encouragement truly motivated our players to fully give and show their best talent.
Once again, thank you to all the event organizers, facilitators, SK officials, participants, and everyone who made Sports for Peace 2025 achievable and successful. May we continue uniting in sports and building bridges, not walls. Congratulations, everyone! 🫶💗
