Positive VIBES, Inc. Sustains Green Advocacy, Reaches Communities Through Project It-am Year 6
In its continued commitment to social welfare and environmental responsibility, Positive VIBES, Inc. implemented Project It-am Year 6 across communities in Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur.
This year’s initiative sustains its shift toward eco-conscious practices by prioritizing the distribution of basic food essentials over traditional Iftar packs, significantly reducing single-use plastic waste while ensuring more meaningful support for beneficiaries.
The 2026 distribution was successfully carried out in the following areas:
1. Markadz Nurol-Aytam Litahfidhil Qur'anil Kariem | Semba, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte
2. Markazul Aytam Cotabato | Gang, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte
3. Markadz Dar Al-Muntia Litahfidzil Qur-anil Kareem | Dapiawan, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur
In partnership with SPMS Box - UYL, the organization also supported 50 food packs for Iftar at Markadz Darul Mustaqeem Lita'limil Qur'ani Wa Sunnah in Dapiawan, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur.
The initiative was also supported by dedicated volunteers from Kasaumpong Coalition who assisted in the distribution efforts in Dapiawan, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur.
Through these efforts, Positive VIBES, Inc. was able to reach 320 orphans, madrasah learners, and fasting individuals, continuing the spirit of compassion and generosity during the holy month of Ramadan.
“Reducing our environmental footprint while serving more beneficiaries remains at the heart of Project It-am,” said Alhudin Pango, Information Officer of Positive VIBES, Inc. and Project It-am Manager.
“Small, intentional changes like minimizing single-use plastics can create a meaningful and lasting impact,” added Najive Nava, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Positive VIBES, Inc.
“This initiative shows that we can care for both people and the environment at the same time,” he added.
Globally, the urgency to address plastic waste remains critical, with single-use plastics comprising a significant portion of overall production. Initiatives like Project It-am contribute to a broader movement toward responsible consumption.
Beyond its environmental impact, the initiative also reflects the Islamic principle of stewardship, emphasizing mindful and responsible use of resources.
Project It-am Year 6 was made possible through the generosity of donors from diverse backgrounds, who contributed a total of ₱38,506.00. This collective generosity empowers Positive VIBES, Inc. to sustain and expand its mission of providing aid to those in need.
As the organization moves forward, it remains committed to strengthening its programs—creating a lasting impact not only for communities but also for the environment.
