As creatives, photographers, and production owners, our work is not just about capturing moments but also about protecting the effort, creativity, and resources that go into every project.
I want to raise awareness about the importance of intellectual property rights and proper crediting in the creative industry. When a project is executed using a production owner’s equipment, resources, and vision, the ownership of the final output typically belongs to the production owner or photographer.
Using these works in personal portfolios or for other purposes without proper acknowledgment or consent can violate intellectual property laws and moral rights, which protect the creator’s right to be credited for their work.
This is not about limiting opportunities for growth but about respecting creative ownership and maintaining professionalism within the industry. Let’s uplift and support each other while practicing ethical standards.
