United Youth for Peace and Development - Cotabato City Chapter

The UNYPAD Women Affairs Committee of the Cotabato City Chapter, represented by Secretary Suhayra Akmad, together with Davao City Chapter Chairwoman Amerah Mamendig, participated in the Women’s Peace Dialogue held on April 12, 2026, at Blue Lotus Hotel in Davao City.

The dialogue served as a meaningful starting point for collective action, as participants came together to identify practical steps moving forward. One of the key outcomes was the agreement to form a dedicated task force that will lead the establishment of a Philippine Women’s Coalition, beginning in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

This initiative will continue to develop through follow-up meetings and planned activities focused on Palestinian issues, reflecting the shared commitment of Bangsamoro Filipino women.

The gathering highlighted the power of unity among women determined to contribute to peace, justice, education, and meaningful action. It served as a reminder that even small, purposeful steps can create lasting impact when grounded in shared values and collective resolve.

Moving forward, participants expressed their commitment to continue amplifying voices, strengthening solidarity, and supporting the global call for justice in Palestine with humility and hope.

Hearts United, Voices Amplified: Solidarity for Palestine, Peace for All!

The executives of United Youth for Peace and Development attended at the National Solidarity Conference for Palestine and the Call for Peace in the Middle East held on April 10-11, 2026, at Acacia Hotel, Davao City.

The gathering brought together delegates from CSO’s and individuals from across the Philippines, especially from the Bangsamoro Region, along with Palestinian refugees and representatives from Turkey, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Together, they expressed their support for the Palestinian people and stood in solidarity with those affected by the ongoing conflict, while advocating for peace in the region.

Over the course of the two-day event, participants engaged in open discussions about the situation in Palestine and in the Middle East as tensions continue to rise.

The conference also encouraged everyone to sustain their solidarity through sincere prayers for the people of Gaza, as well as through responsible actions, such as supporting boycott initiatives against those linked to injustice and violence.

The conference concluded with a strong call to action, urging governments, institutions, and individuals alike to move beyond words and take meaningful steps toward ending injustice.

Alhamdulillah! Our hearts are full after a beautiful afternoon of brotherhood and sisterhood. It was a joy to see all the chapters gathered yesterday for our Free Iftar program. 🕌✨

There is a special barakah when we gather in the House of Allah to break our fast together. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts and strengthen the bonds of our community.

𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡! The 𝐔𝐍𝐘𝐏𝐀𝐃–𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 successfully conducted the Final Wave of the Ramadhan Free Iftar Program, providing meals for the 𝐌𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐧 at 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 on March 15, 2026.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the dedication and collective efforts of 𝐔𝐍𝐘𝐏𝐀𝐃–𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐒𝐔, reflecting the true spirit of service, unity, and compassion during the blessed month of Ramadhan.

More than simply providing food to break the fast, this activity represents the essence of Ramadhan , 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝, and 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 to those who gather in faith and solidarity. 🌙✨

The UNYPAD Cotabato City Chapter, in collaboration with the National leadership at Jamiat Cotabato, came together to conduct a meaningful Ramadhan program aimed at fostering unity, generosity, and service to the community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported, participated, and helped make this initiative possible. May Allah (SWT) continue to bless our efforts and strengthen our commitment to serve the Ummah.
