The 2026 Indigenous Storytelling Lab comes to a close with powerful stories, shared learning, and creative expressions from Indigenous young people across mainland BARMM. Together with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines, IAG is grateful for the energy, insight, and courage participants brought into every session — from visual arts and photography to identity‑rooted narratives. These days have shown what becomes possible when young storytellers are given space to create, reflect, and lead.

Every policy, every law begins with a story. At the Institute for Autonomy and Governance, we are honored to hold space for the voices of the communities we serve. In the second Indigenous Storytelling Lab, together with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines, we continue nurturing Indigenous young people as they carry forward the stories of their people. These artworks brim with those stories — lived, remembered, and reclaimed. We are here to listen.

IAG, together with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines, is ready to welcome Indigenous young people to the 2026 Indigenous Storytelling Lab, now on its second year, to strengthen identity, culture, and leadership through creative storytelling in visual arts, photography, and narrative.

This year’s Lab brings sessions on visual arts, photography, and identity‑rooted narratives, empowering participants to transform lived experiences, cultural symbols, and community stories into powerful expressions of advocacy and heritage.
