The Moro Peace Project — is a non-government organization which aims to promote development service in developing projects and programs in the community of the Bangsamoro People. Our centre provides promotions of programs and services for youth, community service, IT Support, Secretariat and Administrative support to people's organizations for social development. OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:

OUR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM:

We offer opportunities to volunteers and students seeking an internship or to individuals who are interested in serving their community. Our main goal is to improve and promote the quality of life of individuals in our community and to build strong sector partnerships for community capacity building. Volunteer Opportunities:

Media Relations, Fundraising, Client Support, Special Events, IT SUpport Programs, Youth Programs, Administrative Support, Outreach and Awareness Building, Community Outreach Programs.

STATEMENT ON THE FIRST PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN BARMM

The Moro Peace Project (TMPP) welcomes the historic first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), marking a significant milestone in the Bangsamoro peace process and the region’s continuing political transition.

TMPP recognizes and commends the people of BARMM, the national and regional authorities, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F), electoral institutions, and all stakeholders and partners whose collective efforts have contributed to the preparations for this historic democratic exercise.

As the people of BARMM prepare to cast their votes, TMPP encourages all stakeholders to work together to ensure that the elections are conducted in a peaceful, credible, and inclusive manner, while remaining committed to dialogue, cooperation, mutual respect, and the peaceful resolution of differences. The successful conduct of the elections, coupled with effective follow-through, will be essential to strengthening public trust, consolidating the gains of the Bangsamoro peace process, and ensuring that the benefits of peace, development, and good governance reach all communities as BARMM enters this new chapter.

TMPP remains steadfast in its mission to support national and regional efforts under the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB). Promoting lasting peace is more than a commitment, it is our ongoing responsibility. We are dedicated to strengthening community connections and fostering a peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous future built on unity, understanding, and shared progress.

As the region approaches the historic first Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections on September 14, 2026, The Moro Peace Project (TMPP), Inc. calls on every Bangsamoro voter to exercise their democratic right to suffrage, voting freely, responsibly, and with informed judgment.

Our participation plays a vital role in shaping the future of regional governance for our youth, women, and local communities. Voting becomes truly meaningful when guided by principled choices that reflect the integrity, track record, platforms, and public service commitments of the candidates.

A single vote gives our youth and broader communities a direct line to the Bangsamoro Parliament and Government, ensuring dedicated representation for their realities, concerns, and aspirations.

TMPP encourages all voters, especially young people, to:

* Seek information from credible sources and understand the electoral process.
* Stand vigilant against misinformation, vote-buying, intimidation, and practices that compromise election integrity.
* Carefully evaluate candidates who will genuinely uphold human rights, welfare, and inclusive development.

READ | Official Statement of The Moro Peace Project (TMPP), Inc. on the Ateneo de Zamboanga University Shooting Incident

The Moro Peace Project (TMPP), Inc. strongly condemns the reported shooting incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga University on the morning of August 18, 2026, allegedly involving a high school student as the primary suspect.

We express our deepest concern and sympathy to the students, faculty, staff, families, and the entire Ateneo de Zamboanga University community affected by this tragic and senseless act of violence, emphasizing that schools must remain safe spaces where young people can learn, grow, and pursue their dreams without fear, and that acts of violence have no place in educational institutions and must never be tolerated or normalized under any circumstances.

TMPP urges the authorities to immediately conduct a swift, thorough, impartial, and transparent investigation into the incident and ensure accountability in accordance with due process and the law. We likewise call for all necessary measures to be taken to protect students and prevent similar incidents from happening again.

We also call on educational institutions, concerned government agencies, parents, educators, youth leaders, and communities to work together to strengthen security protocols, establish effective early-intervention mechanisms, and create safe and supportive environments where young people feel empowered to speak openly about their struggles, conflicts, and concerns, while ensuring access to appropriate psychosocial and mental health support, recognizing that protecting our youth is a shared responsibility.

TMPP stands in solidarity with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University community during this difficult time. We call on everyone to reject violence, uphold the sanctity of life, and work collectively toward safer, more peaceful, and more compassionate learning environments for all young people.
