𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗢𝗱𝗶𝗻, together with former SSLG officers—𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘁 (President), 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 (Vice President), 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮 (Treasurer), and 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗺 (Grade 10 Representative), as well as 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹 (Former BKD President), participated in the BARMM Simultaneous Mangrove Planting – Year 2 in celebration of World Mangrove Day 2026.

The activity commenced at 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, followed by the mangrove planting at 𝗕𝘂𝗮𝘆𝗮-𝗕𝘂𝗮𝘆𝗮, 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻, where participants joined fellow volunteers in a collective effort to restore and protect the region's coastal ecosystem.

Through initiatives like this, student leaders, both present and former, continue to demonstrate that genuine leadership is reflected not only in holding a position, but also in taking meaningful action for the community and the environment.🌱💚

The student leaders of 𝙅. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙯 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 proudly took part in the 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙁𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙊𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 held at the 𝙆𝘾𝘾 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧. 🛡️𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦.

Earlier today, the students of J. Marquez National High School participated in the 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡, practicing the proper actions to take before, during, and after an earthquake.

With the guidance of teachers and the assistance of SSLG officers, learners carried out the drill in an organized manner, demonstrating discipline, cooperation, and readiness in times of emergency.

The successful conduct of the drill was made possible through the leadership and guidance of 𝐏𝐅𝐀-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐃. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐝, together with 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥 𝐉. 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚, ensuring that learners followed proper earthquake response and evacuation procedures throughout the activity.

Activities like this strengthen our culture of safety and remind us that being prepared today can make a difference tomorrow.
