In light of the recent earthquake that has shaken not only our surroundings but also our sense of security and peace, this year’s celebration of Mental Health Week takes on a deeper and more meaningful purpose.

Today, the Guidance Services and Testing Center of Notre Dame–RVM College of Cotabato officially launches the celebration of Mental Health Week 2025 with the theme:
“Mind Matters: Growing Together in Wellness.”

This activity reminds us that even in the midst of uncertainty and fear, our minds and hearts remain capable of healing, growing, and finding strength together. The earthquake served as a powerful reminder that life can change in an instant — but through faith, community, and compassion, we can rebuild not only our physical spaces but also our emotional well-being.

As we move forward, let us take this opportunity to care for our mental health, to listen to one another, and to create safe spaces where kindness and empathy flourish. Let this week-long celebration become a moment of healing and reflection — a time to nurture resilience, gratitude, and hope.

Together, as one Ignacian Marian community, we affirm that mental health truly matters. Because when we grow together in wellness, we rise above challenges stronger, braver, and more united than ever. 💚

Last 𝓐𝓾𝓰𝓾𝓼𝓽, Notre Dame RVM College of Cotabato officially launched the Anti-Bullying Campaign—a movement to build a kinder and safer space for everyone. 🌿

Through the voices of our Peer Facilitators and the support of SHS and JHS students, we are reminded that bullying has no place in a community built on respect and empathy.

Last week was a meaningful moment for our school as we officially launched the Anti-Bullying Campaign—not just as a program, but as a promise to create a safer ❤️ and kinder space for everyone.

Held at both the Grandstand and AVR, the event was led by our amazing Peer Facilitators, who poured their hearts into making sure every student felt seen, heard, and empowered. Through their powerful messages, thoughtful activities, and honest conversations, we were reminded that bullying has no place in a community built on respect.

A special part of the AVR session was a talk delivered by Ma’am Holayssa Inot, who shared an inspiring message about the importance of empathy, courage, and being there for one another. Her words reminded us that even small actions can have a big impact—and that change begins with each of us.

This campaign wasn’t just about awareness—it was about action. We talked about how to stand up for others, how to reach out when someone needs help, and how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

One quote that truly stuck with us was:
❝ 𝐵𝑒 𝒶 𝐵𝓊𝒹𝒹𝓎, 𝒩ℴ𝓉 𝒶 𝐵𝓊𝓁𝓁𝓎. ❞ 🔴

To our Peer Facilitators, teachers, and classmates who helped bring this to life—thank you. You didn’t just run an event; you sparked a movement. Let’s keep the momentum going. Let’s be the reason someone feels safe, included, and valued every day.

🔴 ❤️

🎀On Wednesday, July 30, the SHS Peer Facilitator Club held a simple yet deeply meaningful activity — the “Scavenger Hunt Peer Edition”. More than just a series of tasks, the activity was designed to reflect the very core of what the club stands for — building 𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓼𝓽, encouraging 𝓮𝓶𝓹𝓪𝓽𝓱𝔂, and strengthening the 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓷𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 among members. 💞🌷

Rooted in the 💖 HEART values of 𝓗𝓾𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂, 𝓔𝓶𝓹𝓪𝓽𝓱𝔂, 𝓐𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓲𝓽𝔂, 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓹𝓮𝓬𝓽, and 𝓣𝓻𝓾𝓼𝓽, the activity invited members to step out of their comfort zones and engage with one another in honest, supportive, and thoughtful ways. 💌🧸 The five stations offered challenges that encouraged members to 𝓻𝓮𝓵𝔂 on each other, 𝓪𝓯𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓶 one another’s worth, 𝓼𝓸𝓵𝓿𝓮 problems collaboratively, and 𝓮𝔁𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓼 𝓪𝓹𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓲𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 to the people who quietly contribute to the school community — teachers, guards, maintenance staff, and canteen workers. 🫶🍃

One of the most symbolic challenges involved solving a maze using a rope tied to a Pentel pen, without ever touching the pen itself — reminding us that even with 𝓵𝓲𝓶𝓲𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓵, progress is possible when we work together with 𝓹𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 and 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓲𝓽𝔂. 🧠🪢✨

Throughout the activity, it became clear that the greatest achievement was not simply completing each task, but the way members 𝓵𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓭 to one another, 𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓪𝓰𝓮𝓭 one another, and 𝓼𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓭 moments of 𝓰𝓮𝓷𝓾𝓲𝓷𝓮 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓷𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷. 🕯️🌸

This activity, though simple in nature, had a 𝓵𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓲𝓶𝓹𝓪𝓬𝓽. It reminded us why we are part of the SHS Peer Facilitator Club — not just to 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓭, but to 𝓼𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓽𝔂, to 𝓼𝓾𝓹𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓽 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼, and to 𝓰𝓻𝓸𝔀 𝓽𝓸𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 as individuals who care deeply about others. 🫶💐🌷
