In its continuing commitment to youth empowerment and leadership development, the Mindanao Women Advocacy for Good Governance (MWAGG) successfully conducted an Organizational Policy Orientation and Basic Planning Seminar-Workshop on May 16, 2026, at the MWAGG Office in Talaynged, Tamontaka 1, Cotabato City.
The activity gathered student participants from Mindanao State University Maguindanao who are actively engaged in Muslim Women Organization.
The seminar aimed to strengthen leadership capabilities, deepen awareness and understanding of Bangsamoro history, struggle, and identity, familiarize participants with the mandate and advocacies of the organization, and equip them with basic planning and organizational skills essential for community engagement and service.
The activity featured discussions from Prof. Ruby Angkal on Bangsamoro History, Ustadz Mohammad Gandawali Jr. on the Role of Youth in Society, Guiamila Kasim on the background and advocacies of MWO and MWAGG, and Norhata Dumasil on Basic Planning.
This initiative was spearheaded by the youth members of MWAGG under the guidance of its President Naima Pendi, PhD., reflecting the organizationโs dedication to nurturing future Bangsamoro women leaders who will uphold the legacy of resilient Mujahidat in the evolving Bangsamoro landscape.
MWAGG also extends its heartfelt gratitude to all members and volunteers whose support contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.
