“In the Light of Reason: Logic in Thought, Care, and Responsible Action,” to life! 💡✨

Each group embodies a distinct tradition of reasoning — structured, critical, analytical, and dialectical — reflecting the many ways logic shapes our thinking and action. ⚖️

🜂 Group 1 – The Aristotelian Circle
Rooted in classical reasoning and inspired by Aristotle, this group embodies structured thought and the power of valid inference. They value clarity, precision, and airtight arguments — proving that disciplined logic remains timeless.

♾️ Group 2 – The Paradox Collective
Thriving in tension and contradiction, they explore puzzles, paradoxes, and the limits of reason. For them, confusion is not a weakness — it is the doorway to deeper understanding. Bold and questioning, they challenge assumptions with courage.

🔎 Group 3 – The Analytic Vanguard
Inspired by the analytic tradition of Bertrand Russell and Gottlob Frege, this group champions linguistic clarity, conceptual precision, and rigorous argument mapping. They dissect ideas down to their logical atoms.

⚡ Group 4 – The Dialectic Forum
Modeled after the dialectical method of Socrates and further developed by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, they believe truth emerges through dialogue — through thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. They embody discussion, engagement, and intellectual growth.

Together, these groups represent the living light of reason — examining, questioning, clarifying, and synthesizing. 🌟

🌿✨ In the culmination of 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, last October 23, 2025, we were reminded that philosophy isn’t just a passive field of study—it’s a way of living with truth, conscience, and love. 🧠💫

With the theme “𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙮 & 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩: 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩,” this year’s celebration reminded us that philosophy is not a quiet pursuit—it is a living voice that questions, resists, and heals.

In his opening remarks, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 reminded everyone that philosophy is never passive. To study it is to live it—to reflect through action and to practice truth with conviction. 🌍

Taking this message deeper, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗗𝗖𝗖 delivered a powerful presentation that connected our lessons in 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘺, 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘴, 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘢𝘯, and 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘺 to the pressing realities of today. He showed how Filipino philosophy grounds wisdom in 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘭, 𝘬𝘢𝘱𝘸𝘢, and 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘮𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯—values that turn reflection into action and conscience into courage.

Fr. Gamino reframed protest not as disorder, but as 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝-𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚. In an age of disinformation, inequality, and moral fatigue, he challenged us to live our philosophy—“𝚃𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚝𝚑𝚏𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚢, 𝚝𝚘 𝚊𝚌𝚝 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚕𝚢, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚕𝚢.” 💫

The celebration was rich with reflection, laughter, and discovery. Every group brought their A-game, showing passion, spirit, and excellence. In the end, everyone emerged victorious in their own way—truly, no one was left behind. 🌟 In the 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘻 𝘉𝘦𝘦, the 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐚 (𝐆𝟒) proved unstoppable, while the 𝐒𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 (𝐆𝟐) impressed in 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳. 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐡е𝐢𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 (𝐆𝟏) mastered the 𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 challenge, and 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬 (𝐆𝟑) reigned supreme in 𝘔𝘳. 𝘓𝘰𝘨𝘰𝘴 2025. Each performance celebrated not just skill, but creativity, teamwork, and the joy of participation. 🏆🖋️🧠👑

And so, the day ended on a high note with the first-ever 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳-𝘍𝘭𝘶𝘪𝘥 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵—a bold celebration of authenticity, intellect, and pride. 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗼, a first-year AB-Philosophy student, was crowned 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, embodying the Stoic strength of 𝗭𝗲𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘂𝗺—proof that wisdom, self-mastery, and virtue never go out of style. 👑🔥

More than an event, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 became a reminder of who we are and what we stand for: 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. 🌿

Students Organization Day at Notre Dame University was a blast, and the Philosophia Organization brought the fun with games, laughter, and thought-provoking vibes! From brain teasers to philosophy-inspired challenges, we mixed wisdom with play and showed that deep thinking can be exciting too.
