UPDATES|| Happy 56th Founding Anniversary, Alpha Kappa Omega Fraternity and Sorority! π
Theme: βHindi lang ito samahan β isa itong pamilya. 56 years strong and counting.β
Today, February 22, 2026, we celebrate 56 strong years of Alpha Kappa Omega since it was founded in 1970. For more than five decades, we have grown together as one family, built on love, unity, friendship, brotherhood, and sisterhood.
Hindi man tayo magkakadugo, pero sa puso at samahan, sobrang lalim ng connection natin. Pwedeng magpahinga tayo ng isang taon, dalawa, o kahit ilang taon pa β pero darating ang panahon na babalik tayo sa ating fraternity at sorority. Kasi totooβ¦ βOnce an AKO, always an AKO.β
Dito sa AKO tayo nagsimula. Dito tayo natutong maging brave and strong. Dito tayo natutong makisama sa iba. Dito tayo naging masaya noong kabataan natin. Dito tayo natutong tama at mali. Dito natin naramdaman ang tunay na pagmamahal ng kapatiran. At dito rin nagsimula ang pagbabago natin para maging mas mabuting tao. Kaya huwag nating kalimutan magpasalamat sa mga kapatid na nag-anyaya at nagdala sa atin dito sa Alpha Kappa Omega.
Sa lahat ng AKOnians na medyo nahihiya magpakita, please donβt hesitate. Kahit simpleng magpakilala lang, sobrang happy na kami. Pamilya tayo dito.
We would also like to sincerely thank everyone na present during our 56th Anniversary Celebration. Sobrang thankful kami sa oras at effort ninyo. Next year ulit ha! π
Sa lahat ng nag-extend ng donations, thank you so much. Dahil sa inyo, marami na naman tayong napasaya. Hindi na namin kayo isa-isahin, pero kilala nβyo kung sino kayo. π Maraming salamat din sa mga hindi nakapunta pero tuloy pa rin ang support at pagbibigay ng donations β naiintindihan namin ang busy schedules ninyo. Talaga, ramdam namin ang love ninyo sa AKO.
A special thanks kay Brod Bobby Ampatuan at sa supportive niyang asawa, Maβam Liway Pendaliday Ampatuan, for always allowing the AKOnians to use your venue. Your place, La Mood βD Curve Coffee Shop in Bubong, Cotabato City, is beautiful and solemn β the perfect setting for our celebrations.
Lastly, we would like to thank all the Alumni Officers under the leadership of Sis Ingrid C. Sumauang-Juanday, Alumni President, as well as Sis Marivic Reyes-Magno, Sis Glena Marie Almoite, Brod Diamond Siang, Brod Aljamir Balabadan, Brod Bobby Ampatuan, Sis Jeannie Zipagan, Sis Ehmie Gomez, Sis Olive Abas and all other members who helped with the preparations and the event itself. Without your help and love for AKOnians, this celebration would not have been as joyful, organized, and successful. Thank you so much for your dedication and care for AKOnians.
Hopefully next year, even more members will be able to attend. We only celebrate this once a year, so we hope we can all come together again and continue strengthening our bond.
