CCNHS-MAIN DOMINATES DLC 2026, BAGS MAJOR TITLES AND MULTIPLE AWARDS
COTABATO CITY — Cotabato City National High School – Main Campus emerged as one of the top-performing schools during the Division Learners’ Convergence (DLC) 2026, held on September 5–6 at Cotabato City Central Pilot School and KCC Mall Convention Hall, Cotabato City.
On the second day of the two-day convergence, the school secured a three-peat championship in YFD Got Talent through its theatrical presentation, “Magluksa Ka, Inang Bayan.” Written, conceptualized, and coached by SSLG Adviser Rajan M. Mamadra, the production tackled pressing social issues and drew a strong response from the audience.
CCNHS-Main also secured First Runner-Up in Short Film for “Malong” and First Runner-Up in Video Advocacy. The school was likewise recognized as First to Register during the event.
One of the major highlights of the convergence was the Search for Mr. and Ms. City Youth Ambassador and Ambassadress 2026. Representing CCNHS-Main as Contestant No. 13, Farouhk G. Salipada and Ashlee Mae R. Angon both stood out throughout the competition.
Salipada was crowned Mister City Youth Ambassador 2026, while Angon finished Second Runner-Up in the female category.
Salipada also received Best in Organizational Attire, Best in Sakotoure Attire, Best in Formal Wear, and Mister Traveltour. Angon, meanwhile, brought home Miss Photogenic, Best in Sakotoure Attire, Miss Dorothy Bread Ambassadress, Firstplay Award, and Social Media Awardee.
The achievements added to the growing list of accomplishments of CCNHS-Main learners, who competed in various activities throughout the two-day convergence.
“Congratulations to our learners and coaches. This is the result of your hard work and dedication,” said Secondary School Principal II Cecilia G. Omar.
Meanwhile, SSLG President Shana Rayne C. Ampatuan, who was hands-on in supporting the school’s candidates and participants, attributed the achievements to teamwork.
“Naging posible ang lahat dahil nagtulungan at nagkaisa kami bilang isang team,” Ampatuan said.
With its victories in performing arts, multimedia competitions, and the city youth pageant, CCNHS-Main ended DLC 2026 with a strong showing—bringing home not just awards, but moments of pride for the entire school community.
