Dominating the competitions with consistent performance, the Nursing Student Organization (NSO) of the College of Health Sciences emerged as the overall champion following the conclusion of the two-day SIDLAK 2026 on April 7 at the University Field.
The event brought together seven clusters, including the College of Arts and Sciences (Cluster 1), College of Business and Accountancy (Cluster 2), College of Health Sciences (Cluster 3), College of Education (Cluster 4), College of Engineering and Computer Studies (Cluster 5), Religious Organizations (Cluster 6), and the Supreme Student Government (SSG), ActiDamean, and Graduating Class Association (Cluster 7).
Mr. Abdul Khayer Mamalimping announced the overall rankings during SIKLAB 2026, hailing Cluster 3 as the overall champion, followed by Cluster 1 as first runner-up. Clusters 4 and 5 tied for second runner-up, while Cluster 2 placed third runner-up, followed by Clusters 6 and 7.
In the booth competition, ActiDamean was awarded Best Informative Booth, while the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) earned Best Interactive Booth. The Guild of Language Educators and Writers (GLEW) received the Best Booth Design award. For the overall special awards in the booth competition, JPIA emerged as champion, followed by GLEW as first runner-up and the Kalipunan ng Makabagong Henerasyon sa Filipino (KMHF) as second runner-up.
In the E-sports category, Cluster 3 secured the championship in the Speed Typing Competition, while Cluster 5 dominated both the Tetris and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) competitions. Overall, Cluster 5 was declared E-sports champion, with Cluster 3, Cluster 6, and Cluster 1 placing as first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.
For the Palaro events, Cluster 1 emerged victorious in the Octopus Game, while Cluster 3 and Cluster 2 placed as first and second runners-up. Cluster 4 claimed the championship in the Kadang-Kadang Competition, followed by Cluster 1 and Cluster 2. Cluster 3 topped the Chain Relay Game, with Cluster 4 and Cluster 5 as first and second runners-up.
In the Tug of War, Cluster 1 was declared champion, with Cluster 3 as first runner-up, while Clusters 4, 2, and 5 shared second runner-up honors. The Amazing Race was won by Cluster 3, followed by Cluster 4 and Cluster 1. Meanwhile, Cluster 1 dominated the Obstacle Race, with Cluster 6 and Cluster 2 placing as first and second runners-up.
βDamyan Ethereal Rave Spectacularβ brought participants together in a celebration of unity and camaraderie through music and a foam party, marking the official close of SIDLAK 2026.
