We are pleased to announce the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 of 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 in the SGA!

This coming November 25-27, 2024, in partnership with the Office of MP Kadil Jojo M. Sinolinding Jr., MD, DPBO, successful youth who applied will convene in this unique and inspiring camp designed for young leaders who are eager to learn, engage, and take action on some of the most pressing issues on climate justice and sustainable environmental protection.

Designed to be an avenue for collaboration with the youth in SGA, PEYC intends to provide a space for understanding peace building and conflict resolution concept, establishing sustainable environment protection and making the youth as part of co-creating youth-led policies aimed at enhancing the advocacy on climate justice and ecological resilience.

This activity is in support from the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) FY 2024 of the Office of MP Dr. Kadil "Jojo" M. Sinolinding Jr., along with our partners: Office of MP Akmad "Jack" Abas, and Ministry of Interior and Local Government SGA Field Office (MILG-SGAFO), Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agriarian Reform, and Integrated Democracy and Development for Meaningful Progress, Inc.

Calling young climate advocates with a passion for change!

Applications are NOW OPEN for Climate EmerGenZ: Empowering a Generation for Climate Action, a two-day, stay-out camp designed to engage and organize local youth in promoting environmental education and awareness through hands-on learning experiences. This initiative empowers young people to raise public consciousness about the science of climate change and encourages climate-smart, resilient lifestyle choices.

The camp will be held on November 15-16, 2024, at the American Corner, Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

Meet the Resident Parliamentarian and Committee Facilitators to the Bangsamoro Youth Parliament (BYP) 2024!

The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) is organizing the BYP 2024 from August 6 to 10 in Cotabato City. This event will bring together eighty (80) brilliant Bangsamoro youth leaders from across the Bangsamoro region to discuss current youth issues, craft potential solutions, and simulate legislative processes in the parliament.

The BYP 2024 aims to equip these delegates with skills in parliamentary procedures, advocacy and policy paper making, resource mobilization, and capacity building for effective advocacy and lobbying.

Shukran for your service Commissioner Lexee Dayanghirang - NYC Mindanao and congratulations to Assistant Secretary Bianca Patrice Go for being the new Commissioner Representing Mindanao in the National Youth Commission!

𝗔𝗦𝗲𝗰 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗬𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼

Assistant Secretary Bianca Patrice Go took her oath as the new Commissioner Representing Mindanao in the National Youth Commission on March 26, 2024 at the NYC Central Office, Quezon City after Former Commissioner Lexee Dayanghirang completed her 3-year term.

The ceremony was officiated by NYC Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer Undersecretary Ronald Cardema and was witnessed by Congresswoman Ducielle Marie Cardema and Commissioner-at-Large ASec. Laurence Diestro.

The Mindanaoan Youth Development Center, Inc. welcomes this development which is a manifestation of the commitment to ensuring the representation of the Mindanaoan Youth in the Commission.

The MYDC Inc., its network organizations and volunteers are hopeful to meet Commissioner Bianca soon and engage her in our different initiatives for the welfare of the MindaYouth!

The PMT is open for young people from civil society, trade unions, think tanks, political parties and the media.
