Among the dedicated community advocates leading by example was the President of the Bangsamoro Exit Overseas Workers Association BEOWA BARMM OFWs sir Suaib Hussain Al-haj , ensuring that the crucial voices, experiences, and future of our returning overseas workers are fully represented in this democratic transition.

Participants didn't just listen—they got hands-on experience by reviewing sample ballots with fictitious candidates and trying out the new automated vote-counting machines (ACMs) guided directly by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

With over 5,000 of these automated machines set to deploy across the region for the historic September 14, 2026 Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections, getting this real-world practice is a massive win for voter confidence.

lOOK: We are deeply honored to announce that the Bangsamoro Exit Overseas Workers Association BEOWA BARMM , led by our President sir Suaib Hussain Al-haj , was formally invited by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE-BARMM) to witness the official launching of the dedicated OFW Desk at Awang Airport!

This invitation highlights the strengthening bond and shared vision between government ministries and grass-roots OFW organizations in ensuring that no Bangsamoro migrant worker is left behind.

The new desk stands as a vital sanctuary and immediate frontline support mechanism for our modern-day heroes the moment they land home or prepare to journey abroad.

Our profound thanks and highest commendations go to MOLE-BARMM, to OWWB Director Annuarudin U. Tayuan, MOLE Director general Datu Surab Abutazil Jr.
as well as to Atty. Ranibai D. Dilangalen (Director, Bangsamoro Airport Authority) and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC-BAA), for their visionary leadership and for actively involving civil society organizations like BEOWA in these historic milestones.

When government agencies and OFW associations move together in one direction, we build a safer, tighter, and much more resilient support system for our global workforce!
