Kaagapay OFW Resource & Service Center, Inc. is looking for a Session Facilitator and Documenter to support the facilitation & documentation of our upcoming Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Sessions with project stakeholders and community participants.

Contract Duration: Short-term engagement (July 2026)

Qualifications:
✅ At least 1 year of relevant experience
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✅ Fluent in Maguindanaon and Tagalog (spoken and written communication preferred)
✅ Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
✅ Experience working with community-based projects, civil society organizations, or non-profit programs is an advantage

Empowered communities begin with informed people.

Our Pool of Community Educators Training conducted last June 16–17, 2026 in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi was a meaningful opportunity to learn, share experiences, and strengthen our commitment to supporting OFWs and their families.

As our community educators return to their respective communities, they bring with them valuable knowledge and a shared purpose to help others make informed decisions and access the support they need.

Contributing to Stronger Local Mechanisms for Migrant Protection!

Cotabato City || Kaagapay OFW Resource and Service Center, Inc. recently participated in a consultative meeting jointly organized by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) and the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) as part of the ongoing efforts to develop a Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) on the Establishment and Operationalization of OFW/OBW Helpdesks in the Bangsamoro region.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss mechanisms that will guide local government units and relevant institutions in providing accessible, responsive, and coordinated services for Overseas Bangsamoro Workers (OBW)s and their families.

During the consultation, Kaagapay OFW shared brief inputs drawn from its experience in supporting migrant workers and strengthening community-based OFW/OBW Helpdesks. These insights aim to contribute to the development of a practical and people-centered policy framework that responds to the realities and needs of OFWs.

Kaagapay OFW expresses its appreciation to MOLE and MILG for fostering a collaborative and participatory process in crafting this important policy initiative.

Together, we continue to strengthen local support systems and advance safe, orderly, and dignified migration for all.

Bringing Opportunities and Services Closer to Communities!

Lamitan City, Basilan || Kaagapay OFW Resource and Service Center, Inc. proudly participated in the Job Fair 2026 last 19 June 2026 held as part of the 43rd Lami-Lamihan Festival in Lamitan City, Basilan, reaffirming our commitment to making information, support services, and opportunities more accessible to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), aspiring migrant workers, and their families.

Through this activity, Kaagapay OFW provided information on safe migration, facilitated referrals, and engaged with jobseekers and stakeholders in promoting the welfare and protection of Filipino workers. The event also served as an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with local institutions and agencies working towards inclusive employment and migrant support.

Kaagapay OFW extends its gratitude to the City Government of Lamitan and all partners who continue to work alongside us in promoting safe, orderly, and dignified migration.

Together, we continue to build informed, empowered, and resilient communities where every Filipino worker can thrive.

Strengthening Reintegration Through Dialogue and Partnership!

Bongao, Tawi-Tawi || On 18 June 2026, Kaagapay OFW Resource and Service Center, Inc. facilitated a Round Table Discussion with Government Agencies in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, creating a valuable space for engagement between government institutions and members of the newly established OFW Kasali ang Lahat Organization.

Composed of returned migrant workers and returned Filipino workers from Sabah, Malaysia, the organization had the opportunity to interact with representatives from various provincial offices, including the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR).

The dialogue provided a platform for members to learn about available government programs and services, while also allowing them to share their experiences, aspirations, and reintegration needs. The organization also crafted out plans moving forward.

As a newly formed community-based organization, OFW Kasali ang Lahat Organization represents a growing effort to foster solidarity, mutual support, and meaningful participation among returned oversees workers in Tawi-Tawi.

Kaagapay OFW extends its appreciation to all participating ministries and stakeholders for their openness and commitment to working together in support of migrant workers, their families as well as the returned Filipino workers from Sabah.

Through collaboration and shared responsibility, we continue to create pathways toward dignified reintegration and resilient communities.

Building a Pool of Community Educators for Safer Migration in Tawi-Tawi!

Last 16–17 June 2026, Kaagapay OFW Resource and Service Center, Inc. successfully conducted the Pool of Community Educators' Training in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, bringing together individuals committed to serving as advocates and resource persons in their communities.

The community educators completed the basic training, equipping them with foundational knowledge and facilitation skills to effectively promote safe migration processes and provide information that can help protect migrant workers and their families.

The training marks an important step in strengthening community-based mechanisms for migrant protection by developing local leaders who can educate, guide, and empower others through accurate and timely information.

Kaagapay OFW extends its sincere appreciation to our partner, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD)-Tawi-Tawi, represented by Barbangsa Jalaide, Municipal Social Welfare Officer of Turtle Islands, for the invaluable inputs that contributed to the success of this activity.
