The successful implementation of ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ brought together young people, advocates, and community members in a shared commitment to advancing awareness on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), gender equality, and womenโs empowerment.
Throughout the activity, participants engaged in meaningful discussions on family planning, responsible parenthood, reproductive health, and the legal protections available to women in the Philippines. The sessions provided not only knowledge but also a platform for open dialogue, allowing participants to challenge misconceptions, ask important questions, and gain a deeper understanding of issues that affect their lives and communities.
More than a learning event, ReSHElient served as a space where voices were heard, experiences were valued, and collective action was encouraged. It reaffirmed the importance of equipping young people with accurate information and empowering them to become advocates for health, rights, and positive change.
As the conversations continue beyond the activity, ReSHElient remains committed to fostering resilient communities where every woman and young person can make informed decisions, exercise their rights, and thrive with dignity.
Because resilience begins with knowledge, empowerment, and action.
ReSHElient is a youth-led initiative of the Maguindanao Alliance of Youth Advocates (MAYA) that advocates Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), empowers young mothers and youth, and strengthens community awareness through inclusive and culturally sensitive education.
Implemented in partnership with the Province of Maguindanao Del Sur through the Provincial Youth Development Office - MDS , together with local stakeholders, youth leaders, health workers, and community advocates working toward informed, resilient, and empowered communities.
