MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR — In a commitment to inclusive service, the Office of Member of Parliament Atty. Sittie Fahanie Uy-Oyod extended essential support to religious institutions in Datu Salibo through the “BIGAS PARA SA MARKADZ Program.” Consolation rice assistance was provided to several Markadz that participated in the program’s raffle selection but were not among the primary winners.

Leading the coordination for our entry to this program were Raisa Singh, Program and Project Officer, and Morsaina Singh-Menak, Administrator of the youth-led NGO SPMS Box UYL Inc. The team personally facilitated the processing and receipt of the supplies from the MP’s main office in Datu Odin Sinsuat, and spearheaded the transportation of the goods to Datu Salibo to ensure the aid reached the community.

A total of ten (10) bags of 10-kilogram rice were turned over to our assisted beneficiary such as Markadz Abeedil Mai Litahfidheel Qur-Anir Kareem (LQK) and Markadz Laguiab LQK of Brgy. Butilen, as well as Markadz Noorul Iman LQR of Brgy. Sambulawan. This collaborative effort highlights the dedication of the Office of MP Uy-Oyod and the proactive leadership of SPMS Box UYL Inc. in providing relief to centers devoted to the memorization of the Holy Qur’an.

Magsisilbi bilang isa sa tatlong panel discussants si BYC Chairperson and Commissioner Nasserudin Dunding sa gaganaping forum on Fighting for Democracy on the Ground: Aspirations vs. Realities bukas, December 8, 2025 sa lungsod ng Makati na inorganisa ng Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Philippines at Asian Democratic Leaders' Alliance (ADLA) Philippines.
