On February 28, 2026, we had the privilege of distributing free iftar food packs to the students and community of Abdullah bin Mas-Uod Qur'anic Memorization School in Zenaida Subdivision, Barangay Rosary Heights 8, Cotabato City. This initiative aimed to support those observing the sacred month of Ramadan by sharing meals for breaking the fast.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who generously shared their time, resources, and support. Your kindness and compassion made Wave 1 of the Free Iftar Foodpacks possible and meaningful.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Minister Hussein P. Muñoz on his well-deserved reappointment as Minister of the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Minister Muñoz has been a steadfast pillar of peace, discipline, and public safety in the region. His leadership has strengthened community-based security programs, promoted peaceful conflict resolution, and enhanced coordination among law enforcement and local government units. Through his tireless efforts, MPOS has become a key driver of stability and resilience across the Bangsamoro region.

His reappointment reflects not only his deep commitment to public service but also the trust and confidence of the Bangsamoro government and its people.

The resignation tendered by BYC Chairperson Nasserudin D. Dunding, MA was respectfully declined—a clear sign of continued trust in his leadership and service to the Bangsamoro youth.

This follows the call for courtesy resignations from BARMM heads of offices as part of the Bangsamoro Government’s effort to strengthen Moral Governance across the region.

We congratulate Chairperson Dunding as he continues to lead the Bangsamoro Youth Commission with integrity, dedication, and vision. 💚

Our warmest congratulations to Minister Mohagher Iqbal on his reappointment as Minister of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

His steadfast leadership in transforming the region’s education system has brought meaningful and lasting improvements to the lives of Bangsamoro youth. Through his vision and dedication, MBHTE has become a pillar of inclusive development by empowering learners and strengthening institutions built on transparency, accountability, and service.

Minister Iqbal’s reappointment also serves as a tribute to his historic role in the GRP-MILF peace process, where he served as the chief negotiator and played a key role in forging the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB). His diplomacy, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to peace helped turn decades of conflict into a path toward autonomy, justice, and lasting reconciliation.

Now on its 10th year, KAICIID also launched its new feature, the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵-𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 which specifically invites staff and volunteers of international, regional, or national youth-focused agencies, organizations, and networks. Take note that It is not limited to youth applicants.
