Good news members and officers of BaCaPWDI, I just got yesterday the copy of Office Of The Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 17-067 of the Municipality of Cordova, A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND GRANTING THE ACCREDITATION OF CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSOs) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CORDOVA, PROVINCE OF CEBU. Including our organization, Barangay Catarman Persons With Disabilities, Inc. (BaCaPWDI), adopted last October 6, 2025.

I would like to thank all the BaCaPWDI PWD members and officers as well as the families and guardians who attended our monthly meeting yesterday afternoon at the old Barangay Catarman Hall and for taking part of the actions that will realize the purposes of the our organization.

We would like to thank as well the leadership of our Barangay Catarman, Hon. Barangay Captain Mariano "Kap Rakasa" Biongcog for allowing us to use the old Barangay Hall for our monthly meeting as well as to our Barangay Secretary Ma'am Mary Jane Pinote for facilitating our request.

And of course to Ma'am Luche Pilapil from A2D Project - Research Group for Alternatives to Development, Inc. for facilitating our meeting which is also our monthly coaching and mentoring, who are always there to guide us and help us in our journey as an organized sector of PWD.

And definitely not the least, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generousity of Ma'am Glenn Angco and her behalf, Sir Dario Angco for sharing their blessings with us, as we also celebrate the 7th Birthday of our member, Prince Niño Angco, whose birthday was last Sept. 20, 2025. The celebration of Prince Niño's 7th birthday made our monthly meeting a memorable one. May the good Lord Jesus Christ, continue to shower your entire faminly with abundant blessings, keep you all safe and sound, and protect you from all harm and dangers, all the days of your lives.

7 days ago, we had our Induction Ceremony for the newly elected and appointed officers in the afternoon of that day but before that we planted trees again near the newly built Brgy. Catarman Hall. The activity was successfully carried out of course with the combined help of A2D Project - Research Group for Alternatives to Development, Inc., Cordova PDAO, PWD of Cordova United Federation, Barangay Catarman Officials and most of all the unified efforts of the officers.

Again and again, indeed thank you is an understatement to those who made this activity possible and a successful one...

First my heart felt gratitude to our members who attended and participated our activity. This activity is for us and the very reason why we are having this is to make us aware about our basic and legal rights of being a Person With Disability, thus empowering us to be included in our community as we advocate for Persons With Disabilities' inclusivity and empowerment.
