WHAT KILLS THE CHURCH?
The Church starts dying when we get comfortable with sin. When we hear the Word but refuse to change.
We sing, we raise our hands, but our hearts are far from Him.
“These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” (Matthew 15:8)
That’s how the Church dies, slowly, silently, dangerously.
When we become lukewarm, no fire, no hunger, no conviction.
“Because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out of my mouth.” (Revelation 3:16)
It dies when we tolerate what God calls sin, when we choose comfort over obedience, and when we care more about people’s opinions than God’s approval.
Don’t be fooled, full church is not always a healthy church.
You can have crowds and still have no power.
“Having a form of godliness but denying its power.” (2 Timothy 3:5)
Wake up.
The Church is not called to be an entertainment, it is called to be transforming lives.
We are not called to blend in, but to stand holy.
"Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16)
If we don’t return to true repentance, real prayer, and a genuine relationship with God.. we are not just weakening the Church, We are killing it.
