𝘾𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙎: 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 🌿

From July 16 to 24, 2026, the Municipal Health Office, together with the Consolacion Teen Center, conducted a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support information dissemination activity in the District 2 schools of Tayud, Jugan, Pitogo, Lamac, Tolotolo, Garing, Danglag, Tilhaong, and Pulpogan.

This initiative aims to promote mental health awareness, encourage open conversations, and remind our young people that seeking help is a sign of strength—not weakness. Through these discussions, we hope to create safer spaces where every young person feels heard, understood, and supported.

We sincerely thank our District 2 Head, Dr. Lorna I. Soco, for allowing us to conduct this meaningful activity in the schools under her district.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to all the doctors and Barangay Health Workers who generously shared their time, knowledge, and compassion in making this activity possible. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Consolacion Hope Warriors for their invaluable support and continued commitment to promoting mental health and well-being in our community.

Together, we continue to build a community that listens, understands, supports, and chooses hope. 💚

This powerful question sparked deep reflection among the participants of today’s Paglaum Mental Health Support Group.

Sometimes, moving forward begins with recognizing the things we continue to hold onto—past pain, fear, guilt, regrets, or experiences that no longer serve us. Letting go may not be easy, but acknowledging what holds us back can be the first step toward healing, growth, and hope.

Through safe conversations and shared experiences, we are reminded that no one has to face their struggles alone.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠? 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙜𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣?

These were the reflection questions that brought everyone together as the Paglaum Support Group Session made its meaningful comeback today.

Joined by our Youth Service Officer, Ms. Phoebe Therese I. Acedo, and the Consolacion Hope Warriors, the adolescents shared heartfelt stories of resilience, hope, and new beginnings. Each testimony reminded us that every setback can become a stepping stone, and that the strength to start again often comes from the support of those around us and the courage within ourselves.

Today's session was a celebration of healing, connection, and the unwavering spirit to keep moving forward—one comeback at a time. 𝙋𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜, 𝙙𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙜 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜, 𝙠𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙢. 💚

𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝘼𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚𝙨.

In celebration of Scoliosis Awareness Month, the Consolacion Teen Center, in partnership with the Madasigon Community-Based Physical Rehabilitation Program, successfully conducted a scoliosis screening activity from June 22 to 24, 2026, among adolescent students from selected schools in Barangays Tugbongan, Cabangahan, and Poblacion Occidental.

This initiative aimed to promote awareness on scoliosis and emphasize the importance of early detection and intervention in maintaining spinal health among adolescents. Through collaborative community efforts, we continue to advocate for accessible preventive healthcare services and the overall well-being of our youth.

A teen center goes beyond being just a space—it serves as a safe and welcoming haven where adolescents feel recognized, heard, and supported.

Last October 22, 2025, the Municipal Health Office formally opened the Teen Center, offering a nurturing environment where young individuals can grow, build connections, and seek guidance. The launch was attended by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Teresa P. Alegado, Vice Mayor, Hon. Johannes P. Alegado and our Municipal Health Officer, Doc Fe Eleanor Pardillo.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who took part in making this initiative possible. May it continue to spark hope, strengthen youth voices, and inspire every adolescent to see their value and potential. Padayon. Adunay paglaum. 💚
