Yes-O holds an Environmental Awareness Talk for NSTP-CWTS Students

The Youth Environmentalist Student Organization (YES-O) spearheaded an Environmental Awareness Talk for National Service Training Program - Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS) students at the school gymnasium earlier today.
"We as students of NISU CC should remind ourselves to be responsible every time we throw our trash and always segregate it properly," said Mark Kevin Bancayan, Asst. Treasurer of YES-O.
Over 100 students attended the awareness talk and attentively watched every slide of the PowerPoint presentation presented by YES-O officers about caring for the environment.
According to Maryne Anuevo, the YES-O secretary, "The World Health Organization (WHO), as stated in their report in 2022, said that 99% of the world's population breathes polluted air and only 1% breathes fresh air worldwide."
Together with Dr. Brandon P. Rivera, Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Director, Prof. Razel Z. Padronia, YES-O adviser and Prof. Richard D. Jardenil, NSTP Coordinator supported the said talk all throughout until the end.
All the YES-O officers later initiated a clean-up drive in all parts of the campus, with every section having their designated areas to clean.
