Aaron Rey Cañete (also known as Aaron Rey Balbuena Cañete) is a highly accomplished Filipino basketball referee from Mambaling, Cebu City. He is widely recognized for making history as the first Filipino official invited to participate in the NBA Summer League International Officiating Program in Las Vegas in July 2025.
