ARA SBP Columbio AKO Referee Association Inc. (ARA) is a professional organization of basketball officials in the Philippines.

Established on October 16, 2023, the association is an official member of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, ARA in Columbio is year 2026.

Aaron Rey Cañete (also known as Aaron Rey Balbuena Cañete) is a highly accomplished Filipino basketball referee from Mambaling, Cebu City. He is widely recognized for making history as the first Filipino official invited to participate in the NBA Summer League International Officiating Program in Las Vegas in July 2025.

Professional Profile and Achievements
FIBA Accreditation: He is a certified FIBA International Referee for both 5x5 and 3x3 basketball.
National and Local Impact: A homegrown talent from Cebu, he is an active member of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Region 7 technical team.
Major Leagues: Cañete has officiated for the Philippines' top-tier collegiate and professional leagues, including the PBA, UAAP, NCAA, and the ABL (ASEAN Basketball League).
International Experience: Beyond the NBA program, he has represented the Philippines in international competitions, such as the FIBA U16 Asia Cup in Mongolia.
