The Entrepreneurial People Student Association of Food Processing and Technology (EPSA-FPT) successfully spearheaded the Monday Convocation yesterday at the USTP-Claveria Student Lounge!
It was an honor to set the tone for the week, especially with the vibrant and soul-stirring performance of the Duyog Sud Sud Performing Arts. Their presence added a layer of cultural pride and energy that made the assembly truly unforgettable.

Bridging Education and Industry: Our Aspiring Food Technologists in the Field!

We are extremely proud to witness our students from the USTP-Claveria Department of Food Processing and Technology officially embarking on their On-the-Job Training (OJT) experience!

Located at various esteemed food industries and research organizations, these talented individuals are now putting their knowledge into practice in food safety, quality assurance, and innovative processing. This is more than just a requirement, it serves as a connection where enthusiasm meets career.

A huge thank you to the Department of Food Processing and Technology and the USTP Claveria Administration for paving the way for this journey. Your investment in our hands-on training is the foundation of our future success.

To our trainees: Embrace each obstacle, inquire freely, and absorb as much knowledge as possible. Demonstrate the excellence and determination that Trailblazers are renowned for!

Faith, Flavor, and Future Professionals! ⛪🥘

The BFPT 1A class recently took their learning beyond the classroom to celebrate the Fiesta of Birhen sa Lourdes. It wasn’t just a community outreach, it was a massive hands-on "living lab" for our Food and Beverage Services students!

From the crack of dawn, our students were on the ground:
☕ Pangape sa Kasayong Kabuntagon: Serving warm coffee, sikwate, binaki, and pandesal to devotees after the procession.
📦 Community Spirit: Preparing and distributing 3,000+ food packs (meat, chicken, rice, and drinks).
🍽️ Buffet Excellence: Managing a professional buffet service for 500 VIP guests and priests at the function hall.

By applying modern food technology and safety standards in a real-world setting, BFPT 1A proved that excellence is best served with a heart for the community.

Special thanks to Sir Glenfford M. Esparcia, Sir Limuel V. Magallon, class adviser, and most especially to Rev. Fr. Antonio Noel V. Carbayas, SSJV, for his guidance, support, and unwavering encouragement in making this activity successful.

"Pakiglambigit" is all about coming together, and that’s exactly what we did at our FPT Night!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the hands that made this event possible. To our Faculty and Staff, thank you for being the roots of our department. To our Student Leaders, thank you for your incredible "can-do" spirit. And to our FPT Students, thank you for participating and making this event a massive success!
