Kinship Care is a type of alternative care provided to a child by his or her relative/s who are within the fourth degree of consanguinity or affinity.

By keeping children within their extended family, we provide them with a sense of belonging and cultural continuity during difficult circumstances such as abandonment, neglect, abuse, exploitation, death or imprisonment of biological parents.
