In 4 years of studying, 4 years you have been through sleepless nights, field works, challenges, growth, and countless sacrifices—but you stood firm, persevered, and served with purpose.

Congratulations to the graduating Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) students of A.Y. 2025–2026! Your journey with YVE may be ending, but your impact and legacy will continue to grow beyond this chapter.

And now, as this chapter closes, we don’t just say goodbye—we honor everything you’ve given, every sacrifice you’ve made, and every moment you chose to serve even when it was difficult. “𝘔𝘢’𝘢𝘮: 𝘕𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘢 𝘪𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘶 𝘯𝘨𝘢 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘯.
𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘴: 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘢 𝘬𝘢 𝘮𝘢’𝘢𝘮, 𝘣𝘢𝘢𝘮 𝘵𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘥𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘺𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨.”

After sleepless nights, limited resources, a small number of participants, and a constrained budget throughout the academic year, the Young Vanguards of the Environment (YVE) still chose to move forward with passion, resilience, and purpose.

Despite all the bashing and criticism —

“𝑨𝒑𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒈𝒂 𝒀𝑽𝑬?”
“𝑪𝒏𝒐 𝒃𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒚 𝒀𝑽𝑬?”
“𝑺𝒂𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒂 𝒌𝒂𝒚𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒂 𝒕𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒕 𝒅𝒂!”
“𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒊 𝒎𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒂!”

—we chose to stay silent and let our actions speak louder than our words. We did not fight back with anger; instead, we worked harder, served better, and continued moving forward despite the doubts.

These recognitions are more than just awards — they represent every sacrifice, breakdown, sleepless night, effort behind the scenes, and every challenge that the YVE officers and members overcame together.

From being questioned to becoming recognized, YVE proved that true excellence is never measured by numbers, resources, or popularity, but by dedication, service, and impact.

And this is only the beginning — because YVE was never built merely to compete for awards, but to create impact, inspire service, and prove that even with limitations, greatness can still thrive.

Now, we hope that these achievements will answer every question, every criticism, and every doubt thrown our way. Because sometimes, success itself becomes the strongest response.

The Young Vanguards of the Environment (YVE) proudly participated in the 11th Gawad Floro S. Crisologo, together with our dedicated adviser and committed members of the organization. This meaningful event celebrates excellence in public service and leadership, inspiring us to continue fostering environmental stewardship and active community engagement.

𝓖𝓻𝓸𝔀𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓫𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂, 𝓛𝓮𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓘𝓶𝓹𝓪𝓬𝓽

Last March 5, 2026, the graduating Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES 4) students successfully conducted a Mangrove Planting activity at Surngit, San Juan, Ilocos Sur as part of Project LUNTIAN 2026—their culminating extension initiative before graduation.

Driven by their commitment as future environmental professionals, the activity aimed to contribute to coastal ecosystem restoration by enhancing biodiversity, preventing shoreline erosion, and strengthening natural barriers against storm surges.

More than just an academic requirement, this initiative reflects the batch’s dedication to environmental stewardship, community engagement, and sustainable action. It stands as a meaningful legacy—one that embodies the knowledge, values, and responsibility they carry as they transition into becoming advocates and stewards of the environment.

Together, we grow. Together, we leave an impact.

The 4th Year Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science students successfully defended their research on February 24, March 10, and March 19, 2026.

These scholarly works stand as significant contributions to the advancement of environmental science, offering data-driven insights and practical solutions that may support sustainable development, environmental protection, and informed decision-making in addressing today’s ecological challenges.

This academic milestone was achieved under the guidance and expertise of their esteemed panelists and advisers: Dr. Jill Ann R. Paranada, Dr. Christy B. Venezuela, Dr. Alma B. Segismundo, Prof. Maritess Raboy, Prof. Reginald Tajon, and Prof. Jonnel B. Torres.

Their dedication to scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and research excellence reflects their readiness to contribute meaningfully to the scientific community and to society as a whole.
