In just a few minutes, you give yourself the gift of clarity, peace of mind, and control over your health.

HIV testing isn’t about judgment. It’s about breaking the stigma, protecting yourself, and protecting the people you love. Let’s normalize conversations about sexual health. Let’s normalize getting tested. Because being informed is powerful, and taking care of yourself is never something to be ashamed of.

We encourage everyone to avail of the free HIV screening at Maris Café.
Eligible individuals are 15 years old and above.
The candidate who encourages the highest number of individuals to get screened will earn a spot in the Finalist Line-up.

𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 I DAY 1

𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 was bursting with color, pride, and compassion as we came together to celebrate Pride Month! With the theme “𝑲𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒚-𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒚: 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒌𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝑮𝑩𝑻𝑸𝑰𝑨+ 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑹𝒖𝒈𝒔𝒖𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏”.

This activity was spearheaded by the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧, in collaboration with the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 led by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐧 𝐀. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐛, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐢 𝐀𝐲𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐜. headed by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐂. 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐚𝐧, and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 headed by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜 𝐋𝐞𝐨 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫. It was also supported by the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 led by 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐕. 𝐀𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧, 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 - 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐀. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚, the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 chaired by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐄𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞, along with the 𝐁𝐍𝐒, 𝐁𝐇𝐖𝐬, 𝐁𝐔𝐖, 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐝, and other 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬, and to all the 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬/𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬 of this event.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒇𝒖𝒏—it also raised awareness about HIV and promoted equality. There was a seminar on 𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐒 tackled by the resource speaker, 𝐌𝐱. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐧𝐞𝐭.
HIV screening and services like free haircuts and hair dye. These activities encouraged 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆, 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, and 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇.

In 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧, love always wins—and everyone is welcome to shine.

Today, the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧, under the heartfelt leadership of Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐀. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚, and the Head of the Committee on Gender and Development, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐧 𝐀. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐛 comes together to honor the strength, vibrance, and contributions of our beloved 𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓𝐐𝐈𝐀+ 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusivity, we will be holding a 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭-𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 this afternoon (𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍), with 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. While not everyone may receive a gift today, know this: 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.

This moment is not just about giving material tokens—it’s about giving thanks. Thank you to the LGBTQIA+ individuals who continuously bring color, pride, and inspiration to our barangay. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞.
