𝓕𝓮𝓫𝓻𝓾𝓪𝓻𝔂 12, 2026 | The Cooperative Management Student Organization (CMSO) and the Association of Entrepreneurship Students (AES) proudly spearheaded the 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧-𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 held at 𝑻𝒖𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚, 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒊𝒕, 𝑰𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒔 𝑺𝒖𝒓.

This initiative aimed to equip community members—especially women and marginalized sectors—with practical knowledge in food processing, proper sanitation, costing, packaging, and basic marketing strategies. Through hands-on training and shared learning, participants were empowered to transform simple local resources into sustainable income-generating opportunities.

The 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 (𝘼𝙀𝙎) collaborated with 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘾𝙈𝙎𝙊) latterly conducted an extension activity entitled "𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩: 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙅𝙖𝙞𝙡" at Bulag, Bantay, Ilocos Sur.

Empowering skills, strengthening opportunities.

Bulag Elementary School, in partnership with the AES (Association of Entrepreneurship Students) organization, successfully conducted a GAD Training on Skills and Livelihood for School Personnel. The hands-on program centered on meat processing production, featuring pork embutido, skinless longganisa, and siomai as potential livelihood products that can support economic resilience among educators and staff.

Sir Aristotle Piamonte (AES Adviser) emphasized the relevance of the initiative in enhancing financial capability and promoting opportunities beyond the classroom environment. His message reinforced the essential role of capacity-building programs in community strengthening.

AES Vice President for Extension, Ms. Roxanne Drije, also actively participated in the activity, further solidifying the organization’s continued support and collaboration with the school in delivering impactful development efforts.

This joint undertaking underscores the sustained commitment of Bulag Elementary School and AES to empower school personnel with practical and marketable skills that contribute to both personal growth and community advancement.
