𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐖 𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐀𝐍 ✊🏼

Ngayong Araw ng Kalayaan, hindi lamang natin ginugunita ang kasaysayan—tayo rin ay nagbubukas ng bagong kabanata para sa kinabukasan ng ating bayan. At sa pagdiriwang na ito, ang kabataan ang tunay na pag-asa ng bayan! 🇵🇭✨

Sa taong ito, itinakda ng National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) ang 2025 bilang "Year of the Youth in Philippine History" upang bigyang-diin ang mahalagang papel ng kabataan sa paghubog ng ating pambansang identidad; hanggang sa mga kabataang Pilipino ngayon na patuloy na lumalaban para sa mas magandang kinabukasan, at may katotohanan nga na ang diwa ng kalayaan ay nasa ating mga kamay.

Ngunit higit pa sa selebrasyon, ang tunay na diwa ng kalayaan ay nasa ating pang-araw-araw na pagkilos. Ang kabataan ngayon ay may kakayahang magsalita, kumilos, at magbigay ng pagbabago sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon, adbokasiya, at teknolohiya. Sa panahon ng modernisasyon, ang ating kalayaan ay hindi lamang tungkol sa kasaysayan—ito rin ay tungkol sa ating hinaharap.

Kaya't sa bawat kabataang Pilipino, ipagmalaki natin ang ating kasaysayan, ipaglaban ang ating kinabukasan, at ipagdiwang ang ating kalayaan! 💙❤️💛

As we embrace Pride Month, we not only celebrate the vibrant colors of love, identity, and self-expression, but we also reflect on the ongoing journey toward true equality for all. Pride is a reminder that every person, regardless of their s*xual orientation or gender identity, deserves to live with dignity, respect, and the freedom to be unapologetically themselves. This month is more than just a celebration; it's a call to action—a reminder that the fight for equality is ongoing, and we must all play a part in ensuring that no one is left behind.

Inclusivity is at the heart of what we do. It’s about more than just passing laws—it’s about ensuring that every individual, regardless of their gender or s*xual orientation, has the opportunity to live in a society where they are not judged, marginalized, or oppressed. Yesterday, May 31, 2025, RBA Founder - John Michael Andrada, and RBA - Ilocos Sur President - Heirra Mae Ranchez together with the officers and members attended the Ad2yakon 2025 at the People's Hall in the Old Capitol Building.

The 𝗔𝗱𝟮𝘆𝗮𝗸𝗼𝗻 is in its second year — which was launched last year (2024) by PYDO Ilocos Sur, spearheaded by 𝙈𝙨. 𝙊𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙄𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙣 and her office staff, and the Office of Federated Sangguniang Kabataan headed by 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙉. 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙤𝙣. Whereas, the event marks the strong support of The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur in the advocacies of the youth — it served as a platform showcasing the capabilities of the youth in terms of leadership which is essential in representing the youth for the development and progress of the province.

Together, with every youth of Ilocos Sur, we can be the anchor and hope for a greater and better tomorrow. Agbiag dagiti agtutubo!

Last April 05, 2025, the Kik-Lusan Para Sa Kalusugan under UNP-NSTP of Psychology 2A and 2B launched its adoloscent seminar at the Caoayan Farmers Convention Center to provide essential knowledge to youth about s*xual health.

Whereas, Mr. Ezra Jair Busaing, the representative of RBA Ilocos Sur tackled the importance of safe s*x practices and consent. Additionally, RBA also donated condoms to the event as part of its commitment in promoting s*x education and to the aforementioned lectures.

In RBA-Ilocos Sur, we believe that with collective efforts, we can amplify and promote our advocacy towards reproductive health.
