Today, we commemorate Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose courage, conviction, and love for the Philippines became a powerful part of the nation’s journey toward freedom.

His life reminds us that patriotism is more than remembering the past—it is choosing to care for our country, to speak with courage, and to use our freedom with responsibility.

The sacrifice he made may belong to a chapter of our history, but the values he stood for remain relevant today.

May his legacy inspire us to become Filipinos who are brave enough to speak, compassionate enough to serve, and responsible enough to build a better tomorrow.

For the nation. For freedom. For every Filipino.

𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑫𝒀 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑵𝑬𝑿𝑻 𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑷!

The UNP College of Engineering kicked off the academic year with its Parents Consultation Meeting and General Orientation on August 17, 2026, at the UNP Gymnasium.

Faculty, parents, and students gathered to discuss important matters concerning the academic journey ahead, including academic guidelines, guidance support, OJT preparations, research initiatives, and upcoming activities such as the Bridging the Gap Educational Tour 2027.

Among those present were our SEians, actively participating, listening, and taking in every detail as they prepare for another year of learning, growth, and new challenges.

The successful open forum emphasized the importance of the partnership between the college, families, and students in shaping future engineers who are prepared, responsible, and committed to excellence.

Here’s to a productive, purposeful, and milestone-filled year for every SEian!

The journey continues. The goals are set. The future is ours to engineer.

The Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers – University of Northern Philippines Student Chapter (PSSE-UNPSC) is proud to announce its successful 𝗥𝗲-𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 through the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗦)!

Earlier today at the 𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿, 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, our executive officers successfully completed the evaluation interview conducted by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗟. 𝗗𝘂𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀.

The 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 – 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐏𝐒𝐒𝐄-𝐔𝐍𝐏𝐒𝐂) conducted a courtesy call to the Dean’s Office, together with its incumbent adviser, 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐲𝐞 𝐀. 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧, 𝐑𝐒𝐄, 𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐏, 𝐌𝐒𝐒𝐄, as part of its commitment to strengthening communication, coordination, and collaboration within the College of Engineering.

The organization was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the College of Engineering, 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐏. 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐳𝐨𝐬𝐚, 𝐄𝐝𝐃. The courtesy call provided an opportunity to foster a stronger relationship between the organization and the College, discuss the organization’s initiatives and upcoming activities, and further strengthen support for the students and the Sanitary Engineering community.

With the guidance of its adviser and the continued support of the College of Engineering, PSSE-UNPSC looks forward to a productive and meaningful year of service, collaboration, and growth—working together toward a stronger and more united community of 𝐒𝐄𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬.
