As part of our commitment to community service and educational support, the Ilocos Sur Hospitality and Related Establishment Professionals Association (ISHAREPA) proudly participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 on June 4, 2026, at Vigan National High School East and Nagsangalan Elementary School.

ISHAREPA donated electric fans, cleaning supplies, and food items to Vigan National High School East, while school supplies were distributed to the learners of Nagsangalan Elementary School.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our members and partners who contributed to this meaningful initiative. Together, we continue to create positive impacts in our communities and help provide a better learning environment for our students.

Day 2 of the 2nd Batch – iLead in Tourism Training concluded successfully today, May 14, 2026, at Las Damas, Hotel Luna Annex.

Over the two-day training, tourism establishment owners, managers, supervisors, and team leaders gained valuable insights on leadership, professional development, and service excellence aimed at strengthening the tourism and hospitality industry.

We proudly thank the Department of Tourism Region 1for the collaboration and continued support in empowering tourism professionals through meaningful learning initiatives.

Once again, our sincere appreciation to our trainer, Gil Tesoro Regondola, for generously sharing his expertise, experience, and inspiring leadership lessons with all participants.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this training program. Together, we continue to cultivate capable leaders and elevate the standards of Philippine tourism and hospitality.

Another successful milestone for ISHAREPA: we conducted the 17th Batch of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training on May 12, 2026, at the UNP Hostel Function Hall, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Region 1 and the University of Northern Philippines.

The training gathered hospitality and tourism professionals committed to promoting the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence through genuine hospitality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

ISHAREPA extends its gratitude to all participants, partners, speakers, and facilitators for their continued support in strengthening the tourism and hospitality industry in Region 1. Together, we continue to inspire excellence and showcase the warmth of Filipino service.

In line with strengthening the tourism workforce and advancing human capital development, our President, Mr. Mark Tandoc, proudly participated as a Key Informant in the Regional Learning Needs Assessment (LNA) Focus Group Discussion spearheaded by the Department of Tourism Region 1

The LNA initiative plays a vital role in shaping evidence-based training programs, ensuring that capability-building efforts remain responsive, sustainable, and aligned with the evolving needs of the tourism industry.
