Cervantes Central School Conducts First Grand Alumni Homecoming Pilot Implementation

Cervantes, Ilocos Sur — December 18, 2025
Cervantes Central School successfully held its First Alumni Homecoming on December 18, 2025, serving as a preparatory activity for a bigger and more inclusive alumni gathering in the coming years.

The highlight of the event was the recognition of former teachers whose dedication and service significantly shaped the school’s history and the lives of its learners. The program also included the election of officers for the Alumni Association, marking a milestone in formally strengthening alumni organization and participation.

Following the formal program, alumni enjoyed a series of games, fellowship dinner, and a bonfire, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that allowed former classmates and mentors to reconnect and celebrate shared memories.

The activity provided valuable insights for the organizing committee, which will be used to further improve future alumni events. With the successful conduct of this initial homecoming, Cervantes Central School is set to host its official Grand Alumni Homecoming in 2026, promising a larger and more memorable celebration of alumni unity and school pride.
