The Cebuano Youth Ambassadors envision a future for all young people in Cebu that promotes a democratic, gender-sensitive, united, peaceful, and prosperous community in which young people can live a complete and healthy life by participating fully in advocacy-driven programs and projects

that fulfil their potential, aspirations, dreams, and ambitions. And to engage entirely in economic, social, cultural, spiritual, and political life. MISSION
The mission of the Cebuano Youth Ambassadors is to connect and empower young leaders of Cebu in strengthening communities by providing them with opportunities:

To build linkages with local, national, and international organizations and champion causes and policies that will protect and defend young people's rights and welfare. To support the formation of a local youth development plan by ensuring inter-sectoral and inter-governmental cooperation, empowering young people through the participation of all stakeholders, and coordinating and encouraging young women and men's development through the design and implementation of a comprehensive and integrated Local Youth Policies.

𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: 𝐂𝐘𝐀 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐭𝐢𝐤 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 2026

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to youth engagement, leadership development, and provincial unity, the Cebu Youth Ambassadors (CYA) Cebu City Delegates proudly participated in the Abtik Camp 2026 held at the Coco Seaview Beach House, Asturias, Cebu.

Representing the organization dedicated delegates of Cebu City, who stood alongside youth leaders from all other municipalities of Cebu to engage in meaningful collaboration and camaraderie. With the team name, Team Cebu City, further distinguished itself during the gathering by successfully snagging multiple awards, a testament to the talent and dedication of the delegation. This feat was brought home by our exceptional representatives, namely 𝗠𝗮. 𝗫𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗴, 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, whose achievements reflect the organization’s continuing mission to empower young leaders and excel in civic participation. Although broken into different teams during the camp our representatives brought light to the following awards:

This camp gathered youth advocates, leaders, and changemakers from various sectors across the Province of Cebu to engage in initiatives centered on active citizenship and community development. Through collaborative exchanges, competitive team-building activities , and shared experiences, participants were encouraged to deepen their leadership skills and strengthen connections with their fellow Cebuano youth.

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to youth engagement, volunteerism, and regional collaboration, CYA Cebu proudly participated in the ASEAN Community Town Hall 2026 held at the Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu last May 8, 2026.

Representing the organization were dedicated movers and officers of CYA Cebu, who actively took part in the discussions while simultaneously rendering their service as volunteers throughout the duration of the program. Their participation reflects the organization’s continuing mission to empower young leaders and contribute meaningfully to initiatives that promote unity, cooperation, and community development.

The town hall gathered leaders, advocates, volunteers, and young changemakers from various sectors to engage in meaningful conversations centered on regional cooperation, active citizenship, and people-centered development within the ASEAN community. Through insightful discussions, collaborative exchanges, and shared experiences, participants were encouraged to deepen their understanding of leadership, strengthen cross-cultural connections, and recognize the vital role of the youth in building a more inclusive, empowered, and united Southeast Asia.

CYA Cebu remains committed to creating opportunities where young people can lead, serve, and become catalysts for positive change both within the community and beyond borders.

𝐂𝐘𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 1.0

The Provincial Government of Cebu officially launched the “Strategy Masterclass for Public Servants 1.0,” a leadership and governance learning initiative featuring internationally recognized strategist Dr. Brian To.

The whole-day masterclass, themed “Strategy 101,” brought together public servants, government representatives, and emerging leaders to strengthen strategic planning, innovation, and effective public sector leadership. Among the invited participants were members of the Cebu Youth Ambassadors (CYA), who joined the initiative as part of their continued engagement in leadership development and governance-related programs.

Through his discussions, Dr. To introduced globally aligned strategies and practical governance frameworks aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and improving public service delivery across the province.

The initiative reflects Cebu Province’s commitment to fostering a forward-thinking and solutions-oriented workforce capable of addressing modern governance challenges. The session also contributes to shaping long-term strategies that support inclusive, sustainable, and people-centered development.

𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀:
• Strategic Perspectives – Participants explored how international best practices can be contextualized within Cebu’s local governance landscape.
• Capacity Building – Interactive workshops focused on improving project implementation, planning, and institutional efficiency.
• Innovative Governance – Discussions emphasized adaptive leadership, strategic foresight, and data-driven public service systems.

The Cebu Youth Ambassadors expressed their appreciation for being included in the initiative, recognizing the activity as an opportunity to further empower young leaders in governance and nation-building.

Following the massive fire that struck a residential areas in Barangay Ermita, Cebu City on tonight, April 4, many families are now left struggling to rebuild their homes. Many families were affected by the incident, leaving many without homes, basic necessities, and a sense of security.

In response, Cebu Youth Ambassadors Inc. (CYA) once again activated the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, a compassion-driven initiative that embodies the true spirit of pagtinambayayongay or bayanihan - helping one another rise amid hardship. Through this initiative, we aim to provide relief and comfort to the families deeply affected by the fire.

Through food, water, and hygiene kits, we hope to extend not only immediate assistance but also care, dignity, and hope to those who are currently facing difficult times.

In response to the recent fire in Banawa Sitio Tambis, Guadalupe, Cebu City, Cebu Youth Ambassadors Inc. (CYA), together with Uplift PH, YES San Roque, Guadalupe Community Youth and Cebu Cherish School Inc. - SSG, successfully extended relief to 50 affected families.

Through this wave of Project KITnasing-kasing, we were able to distribute essential items such as hygiene kits, water, and other basic necessities, restoring hope and comfort to families displaced by the fire.

This initiative demonstrates the power of pagtinambayayongay - when communities and youth come together, even the smallest acts of kindness can create a big impact.

Thank you to all our partners, volunteers, and donors espcially the CCSI - SSG Headed by their Adviser and former CYA Movers, Ms. Joressa Therese for helping us bring dignity, care, and warmth to those in need. Let’s continue to rise together—one family, one kit, one heart at a time.
